Visited the Sarojin during my recent trip together with my daughter. It's a true hidden pearl. We loved the whole premises from the first minute onwards. We planned to stay three days but decided to extend our stay by another four days. The wonderful office manager June arranged everything and we got a very appreciated upgrade :-) What a treat! So in a nutshell: - Beautiful premises - quiet and no screaming children - generally classy guests - We loved the pool and the cabanas (the beach is quite nice but we preferred the pool) - Attentive and friendly staff - Very clean - Loved our rooms - Great food (even the pizza ;-) - Excellent breakfast - Massage: Very nice SPA with open rooms towards the "jungle". However in my case, the mosquitos spoiled the experience a bit. I suggest also to offer a closed room for the massage in order to keep those buggers out. - For the experience and quality the Saronjin charges fair prices IMHO - The toilet at the beach restaurant / bar could use a little renovation We will come back for sure! Best greetings to all the staff. You made us feel at home... Read less

You will leave this palace of tranquility with new energy having experienced a serenity and attention to detail that I certainly haven’t encountered in all my travels in countries over the world with my amazing wife. Believe holidays are for relaxing and refocusing? Well the entire team at the Sarojin certainly pull out all the stops every day and night to make your stay unique and personal to you. I couldn’t name any one person for fear of disappointing myself in accidentally forgetting others who made the holiday for us. Let’s just say that the team get to know your name and tastes, and never fail to make each moment count in ways nowhere else has. I didn’t want to overdo this review, others do the palace (and when you visit you will understand I didn’t misspell) great justice (and I can happily agree with their sentiments), and I would hate anyone to come here not appreciating that this level of luxury does come at a price that you need to put to one side to get the most from what you want. Whether you come to relax in the amazing garden, by the beach, take in the dining experience from the astonishing culinary team and service from the front of house team, or take as many fantastically designed adventure & discovery sessions (which are bespoke to you and you will be taken everywhere before any hordes of tourists descend - just you or maybe one or two other guests (you soon make great friends here)). Ps Mr Kade, reception and housekeeping are the only two departments I didn’t list here and they are all beyond belief in attention to detail as well! Emma and I met, by chance, Andrew and Kate, who epitomised everything the Sarojin is, despite taking breakfast they patiently let my wife explode in expressing her heartfelt joy from the holiday - taking in the elements about which we cannot wait to return to next year (ok, maybe not the monsoon weather, but since it rains warm rain I can’t say we really minded (spot a UK reviewer!). So hopefully Andrew I didn’t rave too much to spoil the palace, but I have said enough to convince any reader that when you need to refocus and appreciate the service of others, there is no better solution that the Sarojin. Small and quiet hotel, very beautiful grounds, a lot of included perks with our booking. The pool villa was very nice, though not completely detached, expect neighbors above and to the side. We loved our excursion to Phang Nga with Sonya. Do not expect any active night life in the resort itself,
