The hotel

Living up to its ‘authentically Bali’ mantra, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa - Handwritten Collection feels like a reincarnated Balinese palace. Every element’s lavish, with its three exquisite tree-fringed pools, sumptuous spa, gym, and seven bars and restaurants all adding to the fantastical feel. But nothing’s quite as regal as its grounds, where tropical greenery spills over balconies, tumbles through gardens, and comes to rest on the pure white sands of its beach. The effect’s a serene setting for garden tours, coconut leaf weaving, and traditional dance classes – and for Gecko Club’s child-focused island experiences. Inside its nine hectares, a dramatic temple-like structure splits to reveal an elaborate lily pond festooned with water features; Balinese guest rooms (including Butler-served Club rooms) divulge garden, pool, or beach scenes; and the incredible bamboo web of its double-decked brasserie opens up to hypnotic Indian Ocean views.

Located on Bali’s southern peninsula. Transfer time from Ngurah Rai International Airport: 15 minutes via the Bali Mandara toll road.

382 rooms and suites styled with Balinese touches, including carved wood features. All with private balcony, TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar fridge and safe. Deluxe rooms with balcony, garden views and either 1 king-size bed, or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. 

All Inclusive option: includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and free flow of non alcoholic and selected alcoholic beverages (excluding mini-bar and room service).

Meals must be taken at designated venue. Meals and beverages must be consumed at the outlet, take away is not allowed.

Half board option: includes a three-course set lunch or dinner from the special menu in Maguro Asian Bistro, Tamarind Mediterranean Brasserie and Raja's Balinese Cuisine. It is also available for all theme dinners including the cultural show.

Food was amazing - room lovely - pools lovely - will come again- very warm - staff were very welcoming and friendly - your choice of 5 restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was out of this world. So much food to choose from. 😊

This place is so beautiful, 3rd time staying here, they upgraded our room with the most amazing views, my husband was unwell and they did everything to help and make our tip most memorable, the food in all restaurants is outstanding also, big 5 stars

The inclusions were amazing, the staff were so hospitable and friendly and the variety and freshness of the food was very impressive! The beach just in front of the hotel with its gorgeous shady trees and plentiful beach lounges was beautiful, we spent many hours lazing there with the gorgeous breeze reading our books! Nice Service and always ensure all of the guests are well accommodated. Weldone Young Man! Clean area and cozy atmosphere. Nice place to relax and enjoy your drink. They have designated smoking area in the lobby, this will not bother other customers who don't smoke.
