Every little detail was looked after and I was given the most welcoming and thoughtful treatment whilst being here that I did not want to leave. The service is like nothing anywhere else. Every time I came back to the room there were thoughtful gestures and an impeccably clean room with flower arrangements, a foot bath, facial products and a gorgeous bouquet to make me feel super pampered. For all this a special special thanks to SANDEEP for looking after the finer details like my Mumbai walking itinerary, gifting me a book as I am into reading and so many more little details that made this my favourite hotel experience ever, cannot thank him and the team enough! One of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. Impeccable service and attention to detail - a masterclass in hospitality. We stayed for two nights at the beginning of our trip through India. Highly recommended by friends, the Palace delivered everything it promised. We arrived at 10am (early flight from London) and were ushered into the club lounge where we were offered drinks and breakfast. An early check-in was arranged, and we were shown to our room by 11am. Stunningly appointed and luxurious, a lobby and dressing area lead in turn to a huge marble bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a wonderful seaview over the ‘gate of India’. The gardens and pool area are a tranquil haven amongst this bustling, busy metropolis whilst the bars and restaurants deliver punctual, efficient and diligent service. We loved sitting by the warm saltwater pool with a crisp glass of kingfisher after a long day in the dusty city. Every single member of staff is a credit to the legend of the Taj Palace, and we will return as soon as we can! Read less

It had an magnificent view of The Gateway of India and Arabian sea We had lunch at the Golden dragon , chinese restaurant and then high tea at Sea lounge restaurant. Mr Jason was very friendly and served us some amazing dishes which elevated our high tea experience... Evening was spent at the pool and evening laser show which starts at 7 pm . It gives a brief history of the Taj Mahal palace hotel. We had our dinner at The Wasabi by Morimoto , world renowned Japanese restaurant. Mr Stafford served us some tasty Sushi , crispy chicken and Matcha cheese cake and freshly grated Wasabi.. Hit the gym the next morning .. A Well equipped gym with all machines . The Heritage tour was at 11 am . Mr Adil conducted this tour which was one of the highlight of this stay.. Last he showed the Memorial built in memories of staff and personnel who lost their lives during 26/11 terrorist attack in 2008 I would certainly recommend everyone to visit this Heritage , iconic hotel which i would say is TAJ of TAJ....
