The hotel

Hidden away on Mexico’s Riviera Maya, the Conrad Tulum isn’t just a hotel - it’s a full-blown vibe. Think five-star barefoot luxury, where ancient Mayan energy meets modern indulgence. One minute you’re sipping cocktails in your private plunge pool, the next you’re off to explore sacred cenotes, jungle ruins and beachy boho bars. Set between lush jungle and turquoise sea, this eco-chic retreat brings zen by the bucketload. We're talking spacious suites with spa-like bathrooms, private terraces and hammocks made for lazy mornings. The spa? Unreal. Foodies, strap in. With 11 restaurants and bars, your tastebuds are going on a world tour - from Yucatán flavours to sushi with a sea breeze. And if you’re not sipping a smoky mezcal cocktail at the rooftop bar as the sun dips into the Caribbean? You’re doing it wrong. It’s ideal for couples, solo travellers and luxe-loving adventurers who want all the beach without the bland. Whether you’re chasing sunsets, snorkelling coral reefs, or just want an excuse to live in a kaftan, the Conrad Tulum brings the wow factor in spades.

We stayed at the Conrad Tulum for 4 days with our daughter and it was amazing! Shamara, Ruth, Ivette and Mariana took such amazing care of her! They bent over backwards to show her attention and a personalized experience. We will come back just so the kids can enjoy the kids club alone!

Exceptional Service from Ricardo and Isreal at the Conrad Tulum We had a fantastic stay at the Conrad Tulum, and a big part of that was thanks to Ricardo at the concierge desk. From the moment we mentioned we were interested in golfing, Ricardo went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. He promptly connected us with the golf associate, helped secure tee times, and even arranged a hotel-affiliated discount—something we hadn’t expected but truly appreciated. Thanks to Ricardo’s thoughtful and proactive service, we enjoyed a great round on the 9-hole course and were so impressed that we returned the next day to play the full championship course. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warm, professional manner made us feel genuinely cared for. Ricardo is a wonderful ambassador for the Conrad brand—his dedication and enthusiasm truly elevated our trip. We’re incredibly grateful for everything he did to make our stay so memorable. During our stay, one of the standout experiences was dining at Kengai Restaurant. The food was incredible, but what truly made the evening memorable was the outstanding service we received from Israel. From the moment we were seated, he was exceptionally kind, attentive, and hospitable. He took the time to walk us through the menu and gave us fantastic recommendations — every dish he suggested was spot on and absolutely delicious. Israel's warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. He genuinely made us feel welcome, and we won’t forget his contribution to making our visit so special Read less

We were warmly welcomed back for our 4th stay at our home at the Conrad Tulum. I am Lifetime Diamond member and this is one of my favorite locations. The property is obviously lovely but the reason we continue to return is because of the friends that we have made. We developed a heartfelt connection with Itzel during our first stay, and she is one of the primary reasons that we continue to return to the Conrad Tulum. Itzel takes excellent care of us and her handwritten notes are the best. It was a joy to reconnect with so many of the friendly faces. Bianca and Macarena, from the front office are always willing to help. Daniela and her team at the Ceiba Club are always outstanding. Mishel and Lucio always welcomed us warmly each time we entered. We had the pleasure of meeting Areli and Jessica this visit. Although Alejandro, Hector, and Gabriel have moved onto other onsite restaurants, we were able to see them during our stay. We did the Agave testing with Hector at Chalk Bar and it was excellent. The breakfast at Arbolea is top notch and there pancakes are delicious. Our friend Tania Olvera is truly awesome. She remembers where we like to sit, and what we typically drink. Tania always provides great recommendations on local dishes each morning. She always makes us feel at home and we love hearing how her daughters are doing. Mr. Corbin stopped by one morning at breakfast and it was great to catch up with him. He leads a very talented, kind, and hard-working group of team members that value creating memorable customer experiences. The Conrad Tulum has assembled one of the most impressive collections of young high potential candidates that I have seen worldwide. Thanks to Hector, Tania, Daniela, and Itzel for you acts of kindness on our day of departure. We hope to return soon and bring other family members with us. Itzel you always help orchestrate a world class stay for us and we appreciate everything and wish you many blessing until our next visit. Thank you again to the entire Conrad Tulum team!!! Read less

This hotel ended up being a total failure! Not only was the food horrible but the service was spotty at best! When it came time to check out there were so many additional charges that didn’t pertain to our stay but they continued to dispute them! After several hours things were ironed out! We don’t drink so we had the alcohol removed from our room and they not only want to charge us once but twice for something we didn’t use! I guess adding four or five hundred dollars a night isn’t a big deal if you are paying more than a 1000 dollars a night for a small suite! Ridiculous, no real beach but the view was pretty spectacular! The only thing it has going for it! Read less
