We had a wonderful experience from the time we got off our transportation bus from the Airport. We where greeted when we got off the bus by Rayan Patman who brought us and are luggage to our room. We needed a ride and Rayan was there to pick us up again and provided us a phenomenal ride.

Wow what an amazing hotel and location. We have enjoyed a week of adventures, great food, friendly service and discovered our “happy place” in Sunset Cove. The beach is stunning and the water so warm. We had great bar service from Ackeelah who although in training made us feel special and nothing was too much trouble.

The resort itself is beautiful — no doubt about that. The views are great and the overall vibe is chill. But there were a few things that left us a bit disappointed. The buffet had a good amount of options, but the food quality just wasn’t great. I was really hoping for more Jamaican dishes, and there wasn’t much of that. Also, there’s only one spot for the lunch buffet, so it gets crowded. The main beach is small but decent. If you want a better beach experience, you have to head over to Sunset Cove — that spot is really nice. It’s more quiet and remote, plus there’s a seafood restaurant and a bar over there, which was a bonus. Entertainment-wise, it was underwhelming. We expected a bit more going on in the evenings. On top of that, we had issues with our room. The bathroom wasn’t clean when we arrived — there were hairs and stains in the tub, so my wife and I had to sanitize everything ourselves. The room itself was nice though, and I’ve got to say, the room service was top-notch. One of the biggest letdowns was that the kids’ water park was closed — and there was no mention of that on the website. We went with friends who brought their kids, and it was a huge disappointment for them. All in all, the resort has potential — the setting is great and the room service really impressed us. But between the food, cleanliness, and lack of communication, it just didn’t fully meet our expectations. Read less
