The Dine & Discover is such a great value! For $200USD I got a 3 course lunch, full pool access, free ice cream, coconut, etc. My lunch alone was nearly $180 AND it was the best steak I’ve ever had. I had the place nearly to myself, got to check out their make your own tea station. The staff was SUPER accommodating— shoutout Daja (?)! I’ll be back… Read more

After an unforgettable experience at the Six Senses Douro Valley in Portugal in 2022, my wife and I were eager to check out this location. From the warm and welcoming ceremony at check-in to the heartfelt farewell ritual during our departure, every aspect of our stay at the Six Senses La Sagesse was truly exceptional. The accommodations were fantastic, and every meal we had at both on-site restaurants was delicious. However, it was the exceptional hospitality that set Six Senses apart and made our stay truly unforgettable. One of the highlights of our trip was a 90-minute couples massage with Chanel and Cindy. The spa and fitness center offered an array of amenities that catered to every need. For adventure seekers, the water sports and adventure center provided a variety of activities. I opted for a mountain biking excursion with Tyon and had a blast. While the construction of the nearby Intercontinental Hotel was noticeable, it posed no significant inconvenience. While half of the beach was temporarily disturbed during construction, the other side offered a serene and secluded paradise, with hardly any people in sight. The resort also provided a convenient shuttle service to other parts of the island, allowing guests to explore the island’s other beaches. However, we chose to stay at the resort the entire time simply because we didn’t want to leave. I strongly recommend the Six Senses La Sagesse and look forward to future experiences with the Six Senses brand in different locations around the world. Read less

Loved every minute here, a hotel is only as good as the people who work there and EVERYONE was so warm, friendly and genuine. Grounds, room, spa, food, all lovely. But again, it all boils down to how lovely the staff are. I’ve traveled extensively and stay at great hotels, but a warm smile and friendly word from hotel staff makes all the… Read more

I took some time to reflect before posting this review, including to another luxury property on a similar island. Having been to more than 20 of the top resorts, including Four Seasons, Rosewood, and Mandarin, I can say with great confidence there is something very wrong with this place--especially if you come to the Caribbean for the iconic crystal clear ocean. Before I go any further, let me stipulate that the staff was amazing and attentive; the rooms are gorgeous; the food is above-average; the spa is lovely; all and all, the hotel property is indeed quite special. They have lovely extras like cooking classes and a fresh ice cream shop and we had a lot of fun. BUT. BUT BUT: the beach itself is a horror show. Set on an inlet, in brakish water, it's rimmed with trash (why no one could clean it boggles the mind) and bracketed by an unfinished construction site and noise (of which we were not informed). There are people living along it. Apparently, its at the mouth of a river and as such the water is murky and doesn't seem clean. It was a total turn off and buzz kill. There's another smaller beach, but the surf was so rough the hotel staff forbade us from swimming. The point is: the images on the web site are NOT THE ACTUAL REALITY. I've never experienced such a disconnect. لذ...Buyer beware. It's not the staff's fault and we would hate to see them suffer. It's the management and ownership. I wrote to the CEO on LinkedIn but never heard back. Ideally, this was a fluke but please check before you go. Read less
