It seem as thought it was going to be great. The place looked beautiful. Check in was easy until we went to the room. We were supposed to be in a suite. Because it wasn't booked directly with the resort, we were told we would have to speak with who we booked with. Since one of my friends booked it, she had to handle it. The bathroom wasn't cleaned. The refrigerator wasn't stocked until after we were in the room. Called front desk and housekeeping regarding the steamer was not working, if we could receive another one? Took 3 calls and 2 hours later to receive. Which made us late for a reservation. The food was ok at best for the most part. The Italian restaurant was really good. Wish I went there every night. The resort watered down the drinks. Not the wine and beer but just the liquor. I asked for just a shot of Malibu, no ice just to see. The bartender looked at me weirdly. It was watered down. Here we were paying all this money and for what. Watered down drinks. They have a coffee and Gelato shop, that was good. The spa was great. I apologize, I forgot her name but I believe it started with a K, she was wonderful. There were times you are waiting for service like at restaurant/buffet/bar and the staff would just be looking, talking or just not paying attention. It wasn't all of the staff but it was a good amount. They had some shows while there. They were nice. Once we left the resort, we had a grand ole time. When asking our tour guide where would he recommend since we had negative feelings about the resort. He stated, this is not a place I would recommend regardless of an all inclusive resort or not. Grenada is a beautiful island and I almost had this resort mess up the experience. I will be back to Grenada but not this resort. We noticed it seems like certain groups were getting different treatment. Read less

We had a good time and was on par with expectations. Beach- Best part of this resort was the location. Beach was amazing with crystal clear water most days. There were two sperate beaches on each side. Personally, I liked the right side more as it was smaller and a little more secluded. This is also where the water sports were located. Also snorkeling was amazing to the left side and its right on shore. Food- As most of the other reviews state the food is very hit or miss. Found the food very good some days and other not so much. Indian was the best overall. French was good but extremely slow service, nearly 2 hours. Italian was hit or miss. Buffett for diner was not very good, but lunch and breakfast was good at times. Grounds – This is the one are that could make a huge difference in the resort. The grounds were not maintained very well, some areas were very nice, but a lot of areas were just run down. This would make a huge difference in the overall feel and look of the resort. Staff- Most if the staff was awesome. They were engaging energetic and friendly. There were definitely a few occasions where this was not the case. Overall, this trip was worth it at this price point. With upgrades to the food and grounds it could easily be a 5 star. Did I enjoy myself, yes. Would I go back, no. Read less

We stayed at the Royalton from May 27 until June 3. Check in process-smooth and efficient. Greeted with an appropriate drink for each of us. Felt welcome. The week-we loved the chill vibe of the resort. Food was excellent. We didn't have a bad meal and we like a variety of flavors. The staff works relentless to prepare great meals at the buffet and restaurants. Room was cleaned daily. The only issue we had was the staff doesn't take the initiative refill your water during meals. You have to ask even when they are standing around staring at you. Stitch, Director of Vibe was incredible. He invited us to the Grenada Street Food Festival at Dodgy Docks. This occurs on Wednesday nights. Stitch arranged for our fourteen-year-old son to play percussion with the live band for Uptown Funk. He created an experience that we will never forget! Thank you Stitch! We took a private tour of the island. Lasted about six hours-saw all the sites-Fort Fedrick, Concord Falls, Chocolate Tour, Rainforest, downtown St. George. You can snorkel off the beach at the resort-we saw a squid and eel along with beautiful fish! We snorkeled almost daily. Even Sandals dumped their guests at the Royalton beach! Some people were there from America (east coast) that were miserable in spirit. The sun, moon and stars and all the tea in China could not make them happy. We are from the United States, Oklahoma where Midwest values of self-awareness, accountability and authenticity set us apart. We appreciated how hard the staff worked to keep this resort humming. I enjoyed not having to cook, clean and viewing God's perfect creation surrounding us. Life is too short to be miserable and selfish especially when you spend all that money to go on vacation! Spa was fantastic-had the Swedish massage and body scrub. We worked out daily at the gym. The fitness staff are passionate. Check out process-No issues with transfers This is our six country to visit and seventh all-inclusive to experience. Would rate Royalton 4٫5 out of 5. Would highly recommend this resort. Thank you for a great family vacation! Read less

We stayed at Royalton Grenada in 13302 (Block 13, Room 302) from May 17th to 24th. Nestled on Magazine Beach, the resort boasts lush gardens bursting with vibrant bougainvilleas, oleander, hibiscus, and other tropical blooms. With its stunning beachfront location, the scenery is nothing short of breathtaking. Adding to the experience, most of the staff were exceptionally friendly, ensuring we felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay Room & Housekeeping: Our room was immaculately cleaned by Finda, and when she was off, Kawayana and Neoshia ensured the same high standard. The mini-bar fridge was stocked with complimentary beer, soft drinks, juice, and water, and Finda was diligent in replenishing our water supply, ensuring we never had to wait for the afternoon beverage service. Dining Experience: While the resort offers a variety of dining options, the buffet selection for vegans and vegetarians, especially those who are lactose intolerant, was extremely limited. Upon check-in, we informed reception of our dietary needs, and while restaurant hosts asked about dietary preferences, the buffet on our first night had virtually nothing suitable for my husband except rice mixed with sultanas. A chef walked me through the options, confirming that was the only viable choice, which was a disappointing start after a long-haul flight. At Nibbles Bar, the only vegetarian/vegan option was a bean taco, which we specifically requested without cheese. Before ordering, I made a point to confirm with the wait staff that it contained only beans, receiving an unequivocal “yes, only beans.” However, when the dish arrived, my husband was served bean tacos filled with ground meat, exposing a concerning lack of attention to dietary requests. After escalating our concerns to General Manager Pilar de Peral and F&B Manager Erany, they listened attentively and took immediate action. Chef Reuben was assigned to prepare fresh vegan meals for my husband at lunch, ensuring he didn’t have to rely on the buffet. Parvel checked on us daily, and his attentiveness was greatly appreciated. We also raised concerns about the lack of vegetarian/vegan sandwiches at the café, and the next day, they appeared there. Similarly, after pointing out that all buffet desserts contained cream, banana bread and marble cake were introduced without dairy toppings. While these efforts were commendable, the overall buffet quality still needs improvement as hot food was often lukewarm or cold, and some dishes lacked flavour or were overcooked. Specialty Restaurants & Café: The resort features three specialty restaurants: Taj (Indian), Ma Maison (French), and Grazie (Italian) which are bookable via the Royalton app, though the app was unreliable at times. Taj was our favourite. The café was a saving grace, offering coffee, tea, cakes, sandwiches, milkshakes, liquor coffees and a variety of ice creams. However, there was no sorbet alternative for lactose intolerant guests. On the plus side, they did provide soy, oat, and almond milk. The friendly café staff: Kai Ana, Tiffany, Agatha, and Thinnia made our morning lattes and evening hot chocolates a delightful ritual. Beach & Activities: Magazine Beach is a pristine stretch of white sand, with a reef perfect for snorkeling. During the day, Kelson and Roneisha led fitness activities, while the Vibe Team kept the energy high. Kimani was especially helpful in managing our restaurant reservations when the app malfunctioned, and his lively, charismatic presence brought great energy as an emcee during the evening entertainment. Check-Out Chaos: Unfortunately, our check-out experience was frustrating. Despite confirming luggage pickup at 3:30pm, no one arrived, and our taxi driver was waiting. Calls to reception went unanswered, forcing us to seek help from F&B Manager Erany, who referred me to Guest Service manager Brandon who eventually arranged assistance. Upon arrival at reception, the scene was chaotic, with long queues and overwhelmed staff. No one seemed to know what they were doing, and security demanded a check-out card, which we were never given. The disorganisation was stressful, leaving a poor final impression. Mobility Considerations: For guests with mobility issues, the resort has many stairs, and the buggy service is slow, making walking the faster option. Royalton Grenada resort has great potential, but the buffet food quality requires significant improvement, not just in flavour, but in freshness and variety. Even meat dishes lacked seasoning. While the staff were wonderful, the check-out process was chaotic, and dietary accommodations need better execution. We sincerely appreciated that General Manager Pilar de Peral and F&B Manager Erany were professional, friendly, and genuinely receptive to guest concerns, taking immediate action to address every issue raised. With these refinements, this could be an exceptional resort experience. Read less

Excellent yoga class with kelson.,while here on vacation. This was relaxing with moves easy to execute. The aqua fit class was excellent! Also enjoyed the walking tour with Roneisha. This has been a great experience which I attribute to the excellent fit classes and instructors.
