The hotel

Bringing a live-like-a local vibe, The Rockley by Ocean Hotels has arrived in Barbados. Designed in bold, fresh, and locally inspired décor plus a splash of local artwork, all suites are supremely comfortable with gorgeous king-size beds, furnished balconies and kitchen facilities – adding that extra bit of convenience and helping you feel right at home. When you want to take it easy you can just relax by the pool or chill out on your complimentary lounger on the amazing Rockley beach which is just across the road from the hotel. If you’re feeling active, you’re in luck, there’s plenty to keep you busy in the Play Space with table tennis, pool table and darts. Nights are lively too with evening entertainment at the new bar offering a trendy beach club vibe. The resort is so hip that you won't want to leave, but if you do, you’ll find the vibrant heart of the South Coast and its wide assortment of dining, shopping, and entertainment choices just 5 minutes away!

Where is it

Across the main road from Rockley Beach — one of the islands best beaches — and the start of the new Boardwalk, in the heart of the bustling south coast. 10 minutes to Bridgetown. 5 minutes to St Lawrence Gap. Transfer time from airport: 25 minutes.

This small and friendly boutique hotel has 49 suites. Junior Suites feature a kitchenette, dining area, lounge with sofa bed, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child (under 15 years old).

Please note: All rooms have pool views, however rooms on the higher floors may have partial ocean views.

Bed & Breakfast: includes continental breakfast served daily.
One-Bedroom Suites feature a full kitchen and separate living area, dining area, lounge with sofa bed and private bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

The Restaurant at The Rockley (mix of modern Bajan and Caribbean flavours, open for continental breakfast). Outdoor covered bar area with a Beach Club vibe. The hotel has also partnered up with some of the most popular restaurants on the South Coast to launch their Dine & Sign programme, where you can simply sign your bill at the end of the evening and pay as part of your hotel bill on check-out.

I can't express enough how beautiful The Rockley Resort is. The people, food and the surroundings. The best thing to do is experience it for yourself. Rather it's solo, couples or family everyone will find their fair share of fun to do at the hotel and on island.

I’m a very picky fussy traveler and if I was pushed for negatives about The Rockley the only thing I can come up with is the pool is small BUT you are opposite a Barbados beach and that’s where I went. The staff are an absolute credit so friendly so helpful from reception on arrival with a welcome cool towel and rum punch to the people who cooked your eggs and laid your table for breakfast where absolutely 5 star! Great location. Even though it's central and in the middle of the busy south coast, you still feel extremely relaxed and it's quite peaceful. The rooms are awesome with a flair of Barbadian decor and the staff is awesome! I'll be booking again
