We had a great time. This was our first time to Barbados, and everyone was so nice. We traveled as a group of 6, with 4 different rooms. My husband and I stayed in an ocean front suite. The room: I was disappointed that there were no outlets in the bathroom to plug the hair dryer into. Weird. Other rooms in our group, some did some didn't. So it's not every room. The room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Resort: we did not like having to make reservations for dinner, even for the buffet, who makes a reservation for the buffet? Drinks were good, but they did run out of some stuff every now and then. Pools were refreshing and the daily water aerobics was great. We walked down to the beach in front of Sandy Lane with our floats, and floated in the ocean down there, it was so beautiful! We had a great time, the food and drinks were great, and the people were so nice! I would return to this resort if they updated the rooms. Read less

Great resort with clean rooms and friendly staff. We were a group of 8 that very much enjoyed our time here. The Area - Greenery everywhere, within walking distance to shopping and is very safe outside of the resort. Taxis and buses are readily available all the time. There was no direct beach access but it's just a short walk to it. Beach was really nice with warm water and soft sand, there isn't a lot of shade though and no beach chairs/umbrellas. All beaches are public. The Resort - Gorgeous views everywhere, pool was smaller than I expected but it was still big enough to where it never felt overcrowded. I love that this is an adults only resort so I don't have to deal with unsupervised children. Loungers were sometimes a little hard to come but that's ok, you can always find at least one that's open. We also loved the live entertainment every night. The Rooms - We had a 1 bedroom garden view and loved it!! Yes it was a little outdated but that doesn't bother me at all, it was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a big soaking tub which I normally take full advantage of in a resort, but we stayed out late every night and came back to the room extra tired. We received 3 bottled waters upon arrival but it wasn't replenished everyday which would have been nice. The Spa - Me and few girls did the ladies treatment, it was average. Friendly staff, welcoming environment but to be honest I've had better massages elsewhere. We used the gym a few times and it's pretty much like every hotel gym. All Inclusive - Dinner was different every night and was amazing each time. They switched between sit down dinners and buffets, we liked the Sunset Restaurant more than Enids but both were good. Lunch was always buffet style, it wasn't as good as the dinners but they did change it every day. Breakfast was a little dull, it was the same buffet everyday and got tiring. There is also a menu at the bar that you can order snacks like nachos, wings, and burgers during the day if you get hungry. I was a little disappointed that all food and drinks shut down by 11 pm. One thing I really like was this resort does not bother you to buy into it. I feel like everywhere we go these days we are always talked to about "possible ownership" and asked to attend a presentation. I'm glad this resort doesn't do this at all, from check in to check out it's pure relaxation. Read less

Very weathered and unkept resort. The room was not very clean on arrival and as the time progressed we found more things that were not cleaned. Bathroom had mold and mildew and cabinets not clean. Floors felt dirty upon arrival, these did get better as time progressed. Check in clerk was a bit rude and short with us and after having a long travel delay, was not what we really needed. Pools were always dirty, the jazzuci hot tub was not functioning and was filthy. There is no direct beach, there is access to one but not directly in front of resort. The beach chair cushions were mildewed and not cleaned up. Aside from Vinny, Guye, Isiah, and a fantastic lady bartender who were great. The rest of staff were very unwelcoming. Seemed to have an attitude toward guests. The food was okay but if you are staying longer than 4 days you will be hoping for something else as there are only two resturants and the one is closed on Saturdays and Mondays. There is not a lot of options if you miss a meal, you will be starved by the next. Wait times for the bar food we're always at least 40 minutes and often we're out of items we wanted. Read less
