Nikisha (hoping I spelled her name right) down at the Jolly Beach bar was especially great with her knowledge of drinks. The sailing excursion was a blast. Spa was two thumbs up. Plenty of food and variety was great as well. We cannot wait to visit again in the future. Read less

My wife and I went for our Honeymoon in late May 2025 and here is a review of our experience. Things that stood out the most. The absolute best customer service from everyone there, the breath taking views, absolute perfect beach setup that was truly tranquil, very good food and truly all inclusive, the privacy of each cottage, and the clean grounds that they maintain very well. It felt like we were in a rainforest paradise. Guest services were super helpful every step of the way. When we arrived, we were greeted one on one and it felt genuine. This isn't a corporate vibe, it's very independent and the people and personalities are down to earth. Everyone that served us food and drinks 10/10. The couples massage was amazing. They have 2 beaches, a pool, and kayaks. There's a bar at each beach and they have a flavorful drink list. The fruit juice is fresh as can be. Our cottage was fantastic and we enjoyed it. The views are incredible from the sunset cottages, but I do wish we got the ones with the pool on the balcony, seems worth the extra price but the water on the beach was to die for and we spent most of our time there. I would say its 10 out of 10 experience but nothing in this world is perfect. I would give the over experience a 9٫4 out of 10. Now for the not so perfect, and this is my honest experience. None of these things will prevent us from returning. Many of the minor things that took away from a perfect score are out of their control will vary by couple. The path to the rooms can be VERY steep and if you are easily winded, getting the room can be a challenge. For me, it wasn't bad at all but my wife had to take breaks going uphill. The cottages are next to the water on an island, this means they are not perfect quality. It's not a cookie cutter style hotel, each one is hand built so they all have unique construction, so don't expect it to be 100% perfect. They have mini-split A/C's in each room and it was HOT a few days so it kept up good enough but when it was peak hot part of the day, it was giving it a run for it's money. At dinner when the sun goes down, mosquitoes do show up, but the bug spray provided in the room helped. The bed wasn't the best but wasn't the worst. Only a waffle style sheet and a flat sheet so at night when the AC got cold, I was cold but we figured out how to adjust accordingly with the remote. On the beach, they did have some locals who offer things such as jet ski rentals, lobster dinners, catamaran rides, hand made good, sundresses/hats etc. Nice people but they can come off as pushy trying to make a buck but when you say no thank you, they were respectful. Last thing is something I enjoyed but soke might. There are a few cats around the island, on the beach, they are sweet but if you're allergic, you'll have to be mindful of that. We saw a couple of dogs too who were also having the time of their lives. There are mongooses too, they keep nuisance animals away. I had no problem with any animal there whatsoever but just know, you'll see them. They were part of the charm. In conclusion, this was perfect for us. It's on the most picturesque part of the island, by far. No other hotel can match the views, not cocobay, not anything. We will be back again and again Read less

We stayed here for 6 days/5 nights for our anniversary. From the beginning to end, we absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It was lovely to experience luxury and peace in a setting with only adults most of whom were here on their honeymoon or to celebrate an anniversary. The cottages were perfect and comfortable in every way. The views were breathtaking and the water was so gorgeous-it was paradise from a visual standpoint. The food was delicious and always served with such friendliness. The staff all seemed very happy to be doing their jobs and always a smile on their face. We did have a couples massage which we both highly recommend. We did not do any excursions but talked to many who did and it was all positive feedback. We went from beach to beach to pool to hammock on the balcony; reading and talking and just basking in the absolute peace and loveliness of this resort. We will definitely return-I have never come home from a vacation feeling absolutely no stress as I did from COCOS. Read less
