We had the fun and buzz of the lobby and city but our own private lounge and team through the Gold upgrade experience. Patrick was truly amazing, a gentleman and an absolutely perfect host. He and his team were keeping in touch with us throughout the day and night like a personal assistant! I even asked him (almost jokingly) if he could have some high quality chocolate in the room waiting for us, and this man made it happen in grand style. I was blown away. We adored Daria in the Lobby Lounge so much, we teared up when we had to say goodbye. What a beautiful soul. And Paras in the Gold Lounge is simply perfect. Smart, humble, sweet, and elegant. Highly recommend for the discriminating traveler. Anything I needed (and it was a lot), they made it happen with a smile. 10/10. Read less

Room was fantastic, comfortable bedding, huge bathroom with a fancy automatic bidet, TV the size of the bed. ipad next to the bed will let you open and close the drapes with a push of a button. We loved this hotel. Fantastic location walking distance to Gastown. It was the perfect base for our first time in Vancouver. The staff were knowledgable and helpful. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The botanist was an excellent onsite restaurant.

This hotel was exquisite! We were only In Vancouver for one night prior to boarding our cruise, and the Fairmont Pacific Rim was the perfect location. The lobby had live music when we arrived, which was a little loud for my taste, but there were quite a few people in the area enjoying it. Check in was smooth, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our room was larger than expected, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very large, with a huge soaking tub, walk-in shower, and separate toilet area. The bathroom mirror had a TV in it (what?!?!) which was new to me! The floor to ceiling windows were spotless and the drapes and sheets were controlled electronically. All of our requests were met very quickly, including the request for bath salts to be delivered to the room. The hotel had a van available to drive us to the cruise terminal in the morning, which wasn’t far, but would have been difficult to manage multiple bags along the walk. Read less
