The lounge was a highlight—nicely designed with a good variety of snacks throughout the day, although note that alcohol is not complimentary. Breakfast in the lounge was excellent, and the staff were especially warm and welcoming, particularly with our kids. The location is also a major plus, with easy access to the metro, making it convenient to explore the city. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Montreal. A special shoutout to Ian Myers, who went above and beyond by welcoming us with tickets to the Montreal Canadiens' final game for a chance at the playoffs—such an unforgettable surprise! Another visit ruined by noise

I had a bad time with the calamitously noisy air conditioning/heating system the last time I stayed here but decided to give the hotel a second chance. Bad mistake. Although I turned off the fans in my room, the noise from the system in a neighbouring room meant I got precious little sleep, even using ear plugs. This place needs a major refresh.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Lots of restaurants within reach, shopping was about a 10 minute walk. Rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, love the ambience. Food and drinks at the M lounge were fantastic! Staff was great, especially Noelle at the front desk. Overall a wonderful stay, and would be my first choice when in Montreal!

Told us there would be AC to cool room, meanwhile it was 74 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius). My partner who is a Marriott with ambassador status had to sleep in the lobby because the room was so warm. See attached photo. We called down two nights in a row before the manager came to speak to us. She was nice at first and then very rude when we raised our concerns again, manager named Sue, and walked away from us. The lack of kindness and understanding when me and my partner stayed who’s an ambassador was very off putting and I would warn against staying here. Issue needs to be addressed at higher level and we will be filing formal complaint with head office. Read less
