I have to say I was a bit worried arriving here after some of the reviews but what a fantastic 3 nights stay we had. Reception staff at check in gave us a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our anniversary on this trip. Decor is dated but room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Fridge was good. Bathroom was quite dark but shower was good. Towels were changed daily, sometimes later in the day but we were normally out all day. Bonus is the Roam pass which takes you numerous places. Nice walk into town. Breakfast here was great, best scrambled egg and reasonable price. We also knew in advance there was no AC which I think travellers from some countries expect as standard and may be an issue in the summer for some. Read less

Eggs were awful, coffee tasted burnt everyday. Keys had to be replaced every other day. Old carpet. Pros- if you use the fan, it drowns out all the noise, nice fresh… Read more

No AC - they don't tell you that when you book!

What they don't tell you is there is no A/C here. This deficiency applies to the entire hotel! An indifferent receptionist told me to go open a window if I was too hot. The TV was antiquated junk and didn't work. The staff couldn't care less. At a premium price like this, the place is a total joke. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Room not cleaned for three days. Staff terrible. Air con broke.
