Well where do I start! Faded grandeur sums it up! The view from the room was good, but the bathroom was not very clean, the shower went from freezing cold to scolding hot constantly, so I could not wash my hair, the bed was comfortable, service was very slow in the bar and the food was not good. We stayed here two nights, one on arrival and one five days later. The whole place felt understaffed and rundown. On arrival, one of the two busy lifts was broken. It did feel safe inside the hotel and attached shopping centre though and we ate at a chain restaurant the second visit, which was better than the food in the hotel. I would recommend as a stop over this hotel, just because it is safe and you could wander around the shopping centre, but were told by several people not to go outside of it. The hotels airport shuttle service was very good and we pre-booked this both ways Read less

We were a few guys on a business trip and stayed here for 2 nights. Some small maintenance issues in the well-appointed rooms.Very good service from staff in the lounge. The environment feels special and luxurious.A good time was had by all and the service was markedly better compared to my previous stays.I give the hotel a clear thumbs up.
Fabulous

Only had a overnight stay at this hotel..pity, as would’ve liked a longer stay. Massive inside, like a colonial building..Room spotless with everything you would want. Bed super comfy..Excellent breakfast. Good wi fi. No complaints from me

From start to finish our one night stay here was great from the porter to the breakfast. The room was lovely and comfortable and being connected to the shopping centre was great too. The South African style buffet breakfast was lovely and I left so full.
