It is hot and stuffy, with a strong odor of chlorine throughout. Fake plastics, no sunlight, or fresh air and grime around the pool. Stained towels on the floor exiting the flotation tank. Water is provided in jugs, the bottled water is locked away. Snacks are garage grade. Almost R200 for a glass of house wine, because it’s provided by a “separate” entity. We’ve stayed at the hotel and experienced two weddings there. But the spa is just plain yuck. We tipped the therapists well. It’s not their fault. Read less

My friend Kate enjoyed the stay so much. She would love to return with her kids , friends and family. She bought a property on her visit to South Africa! The visit commemorated this special event as well. The transfers were extremely professional with vehicles well maintained and clean!! Drivers of all transfers including the wine tour(Moses) were friendly and considerate. It was a pleasure meeting yourself and Paul upon arrival. He took such good care of us throughout our stay, bringing us a special bottle of wine that he knew we loved for our honeymoon. He also brought us a packed breakfast with fresh fruit the night before we left, thanking us for staying, when really were the one's that should've been thanking him! - Jay-jay was also amazing! He was so helpful one evening while working the door, giving us great recommendations. He also picked us up one evening, and when we couldn't find him, he gave me a call and stayed on the phone with us, directing us on how to exactly find him. He was so friendly! - Byron at the bar was so lovely and vibrant! He made each evening at Leopard Bar fun! He was super attentive and was always there to replenish drinks and chat. The room was beautiful room and so spacious. Super comfy bed and pillows and amazing view of the mountain. The breakfast provides a wide choice and the service is top notch as well. The view of the ocean is spectacular and we saw a whale while eating breakfast our first day! Pool is also beautiful and we loved lounging and having drinks as the sun went down. This is an initial review, but this is possibly my new favorite hotel. Here is why; awesome views with a very nostalgic feel, great food and service, including a wonderful sommelier for wine. Service here is incredible. I would highly recommend this hotel.
