All with air-conditioning, living area with satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, semi self-catering kitchenette with tea/coffee maker, microwave, safe and hairdryer. Classic Rooms, formally known as Standard Mountain Facing Rooms, feature an open-plan kitchenette, seating area, desk, bathroom and separate toilet. Rooms have 1 double bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Classic Mountain/Ocean Rooms, formally known as Mountain/Sea Facing Rooms, have 1 double bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Modern Classic Apartments have a lounge and dining area with an open-plan kitchenette, separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Available with mountain or urban views, and 1 king-size bed and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Ocean Suites overlook the infinity pool and the Atlantic Ocean, and have an open-plan kitchenette, lounge, desk, separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Suites have 1 king-size bed and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Family Ocean Suites have 2 bedrooms (with 1 king-size bed in one room and 2 twin beds in the second room), open-plan kitchenette, lounge, desk and a shared bathroom, sleeping maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Signature Family Ocean Suites have 2 bedrooms, a generous living area, 2 bathrooms and ocean views. Suites have 2 king-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 2 children (under 12 years, sharing a sofa sleeper).

Complimentary hotel shuttle to the V&A Waterfront (four times daily) during season.

My husband & I had a fantastic stay at The President Hotel. The staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast had a great selection. Pool area was great as well. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you for a great stay! I hope to come back soon!

Possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I love this place – the staff are incredibly friendly and can’t do enough for you. The rooms are lovely, nicely furnished, quiet and very clean. All of the food was delicious and the breakfast spread amazing. The pool area was lovely and there were plenty of comfortable places to curl up with a book or a computer and relax. This iconic hotel has moved with the times inviting our fur babies. Doggy menu and doggy high tea. Our doggy was treated like a prince. They brought out a bed in the restaurant and a water bowl. Staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was average and a bit cold. Rooms were clean. All in all an excellent stay close to the beach. We will be back… Read more

We had such a poor experience. Before hand we had told the hotel a few times that it was our 25th anniversary. They asked what pillows we like, what room temperature we prefer etc. when we arrived we were shown to our room. We had two single beds and the room was freezing cold. We had such a poor experience. Before hand we had told the hotel a few times that it was our 25th anniversary. They asked what pillows we like, what room temperature we prefer etc. when we arrived we were shown to our room. We had two single beds and the room was freezing cold. After complaining they just pushed the two beds together. We didn’t get anything special like a chocolate on our pillow or even a written congratulations message. We went down for lunch and waited over an hour for a cheese board. We were late for our massage so took the cheese board to the room for later. There was only one hand towel in the bathroom. I tried calling conceive x5 times to book transport to our dinner reservation. Twice my call was cut out and 3x the phone just at rang and rang. After dinner we came home and found such large Fibre pillows (we had requested feather). The sleep was so uncomfortable on my neck I was not rested at all. We went downstairs to breakfast and I had to ask 4 different people for a pot of tea. Eventually a sweet lady by the name of Yoliswe helped me. So disappointed to have such a special occasion ruined like this. President hotel, you should do a lot better!!! Read less

A family and older-person oriented hotel, with the most excellent staff. Rooms need some attention - shower door leaks all over the floor, but staff uniformly excellent and food good, he said having experienced several breakfasts and one dinner.
