My stay did not start off very good. My bed was unclean, had hair in it, the telephone and the WIFI did not work. I couldn't locate the ice machine on the floor and when I did, it was boarded up. I left the room to eat and give maintenance a chance to take care of my concerns, but when I got back nothing was done. I called the front desk on my cell phone but eventually had to go downstairs personally to report my concerns to the front desk. By this time, it was after room services had left for the day so although we were moved to a more suitable room, my husband had to reclean the hair out of the shower and around the baseboards because they had gone home. The new room was more spacious though. The WIFI still only worked on my phone, maybe it was the corner room, not sure. I still had some issues with the bed lights but decided not to do work for the duration of my stay. The linen in the new room was clean. I like the cabin theme for the rooms, but the space could use some upgrading. Will I stay there again? Possibly, as their Green Room venue is very nice and the restaurant where we had breakfast was good. I normally give places a second chance, so I look forward to a more pleasant stay from arrival to departure next time. Read less

If you're staying in Midtown to see a lot of shows like we did, Yotel's location is perfect. If you're prepared for that experience, then this is a good deal for staying in Manhattan. Read less

The hotel is just far enough away from the chaos of Times Square but close enough that it’s only a 5/10 minute walk away. The rooms are pretty small but exactly like the pictures so you know what you’re getting! Shower was decent enough, pressure good considering the tall building. Our view was good too, even though we didn’t pay for a city view! The housekeeping staff were lovely and chatty when you’d bump into them in the hall. Rooms always left immaculate which is perfect after a long day of walking around. Bed is super comfortable, which again is so important when you’ve been wandering all day! The standout of the hotel (to me!) was the reception staff. They were so helpful, cheery and keen to help you out. You can store your bags in the hotel while you explore on your departure day. They keep them in a secure room off reception that only they can access. They offered to call us a car to take us to the airport, which worked out cheaper than the yellow cab we got on our first day! The ride was $80 and was in a lovely car. The staff took our bags out to the car to send us on our way. They are a credit to the company! Read less

The room was Hot and took forever to cool down, the AC shuts down when you leave the room, so you need a few hours to cool the room before sleep, which is mostly impossible with a very uncomfortable bed, add to that the noise of NY through windows which allow noise through plus curtains that don’t block light, and a door next to the bed which… Read more
