Very easy ( across street) to Central Park. About 10 minutes from Times Square and a 20 minute subway to World Trade Center memorial. Service was fantastic and the breakfast Buffett was quite good for a Marriott. Staff at front desk ( Timothy) and concierge went above and beyond for my wife and I. Stayed here New Year’s Eve 2024

Pros: Central Park View high floor Bourbon Steakhouse is amazing Nicholas & Luis lost and prevention team sent left items from my sons room. Front Desk check in, she gave great service as well as the bellman. Cons: No coffee pot in room, you have to request one. The coffee is not refilled daily, you have to call housekeeping, very long wait time to receive refills. Bottled waters that you pay for in room are not restocked daily. After first day, no waters in room. Mini fridge is all soda and alcohol. Room was not very clean upon check in. In one of the drawers shopping bags and receipts left. Room was very dusty! Construction first and last morning woken up at 7 am to pounding on the roof. We stayed here for 4 nights and booked three rooms. For the price, not worth it. In August, my husband and I stayed at the Ritz Nomad, incredible service and worth every penny! Read less

Huge disappointment from checking in, where no help with luggage to simple request for regular coffee is served with decaf only. Not a five star in any stretch of the imagination!! For the price will suggest staying at another hotel. Very sad.

Overall up and down stay. Beautiful hotel right off the park. That said took forever for a bellman to even see that we had driven up to valet our car, had no help unloading our bags, check in was super average, and the suite - while huge- was dated. That said took forever for a bellman to even see that we had driven up to valet our car, had no help unloading our bags, check in was super average, and the suite - while huge- was dated. Further, service was really hit or miss. Took 2 days to get our tub stopper fixed (took about 30 seconds once they got up there) and the crib they send up was a serious hazard. [[If you're a parent...bring a pack n play. Thankfully we had one. The mattress and frame fully tilted to the point where my daughter who was in the bed fell forward into the rails. Super dangerous and when I explained why I wanted another crib I was told that it was how all of them were. Wild and a lawsuit waiting to happen.]] The room also smelled like a wood burning stove from the restaurants at times. Old windows I would guess. That said the location is great for the holidays. The bed was comfy. The staff were decently nice. Would I stay again? For work, sure. For the holidays, sure. For anything else? Probably not, honestly. Read less

Stayed here for 7 days and just as we were to depart I had a very bad experience in the lobby with as I was waiting for my pick up to go to the airport and asked a staff member to use the wash room and he said if he had checked out from our room we could not use the washroom. I wound it to be strange and wandered how it was a 5 star hotel with a loo in the lobby. Then I double checked and found he lied to me even when I told him I am a guest in the hotel and I am waiting for my ride after a long stay and need to use the wash room before embarking to JFK. This was a shocking experience and I have never had this kind of experience in my life after traveling to over 72 countries. Otherwise the staff was very good and it was a pleasant stay. But I left the hotel heavy hearted and won’t be staying here again Read less
