Great price this time of year. Location can't be beat. Less than a block off Times Sq. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the singing wait staff at the deli off the lobby and food prices there were very reasonable for the heart of the city. Rooms are what you might expect for a 1930's hotel, on the small side but fine. I've stayed here multiple times and… Read more

Good price, great condition, excellent location. Also I left one of my valuables in my room after checking out, but the security team—including Danny, JB, Alex, Jahaida, and Jay—went above and beyond to locate it and send it back to me. The packaging was also air tight so that my fragile device would not get broken on its way. Thank you.

I rang the emergency telephone in elevator, no one answered, i pushed every button. Finally took off and opened on 9th floor. My room was on 21. When I made my way down to the… Read more

I rang the emergency telephone in elevator, no one answered, i pushed every button. Finally took off and opened on 9th floor. My room was on 21. When I made my way down to the desk, they continued to insist that I show my ID, no remorse, no promises to look into the elevator problem...just continued with the fact that I would leave my ID in the room. I was disappointed in their response. I was scared to death, my granddaughters were in the room worried sick over where I had gone...but geez I don't have my ID with me so.... Beware is my response Read less

The staff was very helpful from the front desk to the security at the elevators checking that guest showed their keys before entering the elevators. There were several food and drink establishment connected to the hotel which allowed for our group to hear music and have a night cap! The location was great with several neighborhood restaurants and drink establishment around the corner. There are plenty of good parking garages and lots near the hotel which made driving in an easy choice for us. The hotel Edison is a good choice for a weekend or longer in NYC with Theaters and Restaurants nearby ,I highly recommend staying here. Read less
