The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Las Vegas excels at delivering the impossible in wonderful ways. Where else can you touch down in the Mojave desert and, within 15 minutes, find yourself being serenaded on a gondola ride to St Mark’s Square? A magnificent greatest hits of Venice’s architecture and canals located in the middle of The Strip, the all-suite Venetian is probably the most romantic hotel in Vegas, so let yourself be seduced. Wonder how you ever managed to stay in anything smaller than a suite before, enjoy a meal from one of the Michelin-starred restaurants, walk hand in hand down the Grand Canal shopping esplanade or party the night away in one of the many bars and nightclubs.

Utterly horrific. Drilling noise started at 730am, still continues hours later. Went to reception, absolutely no help. Tried to call and email , again no help and no responses . They are so large that they simply do not care if you are inconvenienced. Only one night in and utterly horrific stay.

This trip my wife and I both had a spa experience at Canyon Spa. GREAT!!! We truly enjoy the Palazzo and look forward to every visit. Dinner at CUT, or 10th time, was a wonderful culinary experience. All around, this trip was JUST GREAT! We are already looking forward to our next visit. Read less

They were 100% left in the hotel therefore housekeeping or another member of staff has stolen them. Not what I expect from a 5 star hotel! Read less

I have stayed at the Palazzo for several years now during CES and have always had a wonderful stay until this time. I came away with hundreds of bedbug bites and after a weeks worth of emails between myself and their “customer service” representative indicating they had housekeeping check my room and found no bedbugs???? I also don’t believe a live person was replying to my emails and it was mostly if not all AI. Long story short, I wasn’t believed by the Palazzo that I had bedbug bites even after sending them a photo. Very disappointing from a supposedly 5 Star Hotel. Needless to say I will never stay there again and will not recommend or say anything nice about them or their customer service. Very sad. Read less

We were very excited to stay at the Venetian, which was in the middle of the strip & about 8 mins from the airport. We arrived early evening so check in was easy & we were given 2 room cards. 1 did not work so I had to queue up again the next morning to have it replaced. We stayed in a suite which when we arrived looked really nice but the next morning it looked very dated. The room was dusty & had paper on the floor near the desk & it had not been hoovered. I didn't want to start our holiday complaining so we let it go. However, 2 days in we ordered breakfast in the room & when we returned to the room later that day it had not been cleared & our room had not been cleaned. The next day the room still hadn't been cleaned & the remains of the breakfast had not been cleared away. We had no toilet paper so we're using tissues. I called reception & although apologetic they didn't seem shocked so I wonder if this is something that happens often. They sent someone to clean at an agreed time & they did a great job. Shame this wasn't done from day 1. Other than that the Venetian has a lot to offer with the gondolas, an abundance of shops & restaurants, a club & of course the Sphere. I would have rated it more but the lack of housekeeping & dates room let it down. Read less
