We stayed 3 nights in early January and from the smooth and professional check in to the best Bellman Dean, who helped us out by suggesting we could park our car with Valet for free rather than pay for parking at the airport as we were flying to another location but coming back to Las Vegas. We were upgraded to a beautiful room on the 27th floor, had great happy hour and food at the various restaurants at the hotel and appreciated the intimate casino rather than the mega casinos that are the custom. The location near the Fwy and major street through town made it perfect for us as we were there to visit friends and family off the strip so the ease of traveling through Las Vegas was appreciated. Lastly, we were offered transportation to and back from airport by VIP transport and couldn't ask for better treatment. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Read less

My husband and I stayed at Sahara for one night to kick off our Las Vegas trip, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We arrived late after a flight delay, and Mariela at check-in immediately made us feel at home with her warm and inviting energy. She set such a positive tone for our entire stay! Although we were only there for one night due to other reservations, I truly wish we could have stayed longer. The location is ideal for easy access to the Strip, and the hotel amenities were fantastic. We were able to enjoy three different restaurants on-site, thanks to a promotion during our stay, and the free drink cards were a nice touch! The espresso martinis were absolutely delicious, and our bartender provided excellent service, making us feel so welcome. The room was spotless, and we had a very comfortable night's sleep. My husband also really enjoyed the casino, especially the great blackjack tables. The hospitality was exceptional across the board, and the entire atmosphere was friendly and fun. Had I not already made other bookings for our trip, Sahara would definitely be our go-to for future stays in Las Vegas. I will absolutely be booking here again next time. Highly recommend this hotel for its service, location, and overall experience! Read less

There was not much traffic in the tower and the room felt safe and secure. The room presumably was large (470sqft) but due to the design it doesn't feel larger than any other rooms I stayed in, there was a large bathroom and closet area, but it's not where you spend most of the time in, leaving the sleeping area quite cramped. Another thing that can be improved is the light and sockets in the room. Maybe due to its past, there are not easily accessible wall sockets and the light switches are located in sub-optimal location and create a very bright light, there is no way to have a "small ambient light" when going to restroom in the night for example. Location - the hotel is one of the most "northern" hotels on the strip, about 10 minutes walk north of Circus, I did not find walking in the area very rewarding, however there is a monorail station adjacent to the hotel that will take you anywhere you need in the strip (if you have the time to spare) so that is a big plus. Overall I feel the Sahara is a great compromise between comfort, location and price. I will recommend this hotel, especially if you make a good use of the monorail, it feels safe and clean and the casino/restaurant area is nice, upscale and clean. Read less

We took our son on his first trip to Vegas for a Christmas gift. My wife and I have stayed at the Saraha a couple of times in the past and really enjoyed it, so naturally we came back! Very clean.property and super friendly staff, without all of the crowds of the south end of the Strip. We'll be back!

The lobby, main floor, casino and restaurants were all very nice. Our service was top notch, Taquila (I hope I spelled her name right) at the front desk was fantastic. Everyone else we dealt with at the hotel were very helpful, kind and polite. The hotel is a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle of "the strip" but we found that a good thing. It was easily accessible by the monorail, the Deuce, taxis or Uber. All in all I would most definitely stay here again. Read less
