3٫25 stars. Positives - Good location on the strip. Lots of restaurant options. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Negatives - Cold shower if you're using it after 7:00 am, air/heat clicks on loudly, no coffeemaker. Paid for the view of the strip, but the window was so dirty on the outside it was impossible to get a good photo. Cleanliness in general felt not as good as it could be. A very average/budget hotel room. If you can get a decent deal, this is a fine place to stay with no frills. Not sure I'd pay more for the view. Read less

I attended a conference at PH Resort and Casino Las Vegas. The conference room was freezing so be prepared. On my down time I did enjoy the food at the Cafe Hollywood. The breakfast was amazing, I would recommend the Croissant French Toast. However, the burger I had for dinner one night that I ordered "medium" was possibly overcooked and tough. The burger that I had at Gordon Ramsay burger, however, was amazing! Although the street corn appetizer was lacking in flavor... Overall the experience and staff there were wonderful. The service from any staff member I encountered was great! The room was not as clean as it could have been, which was disappointing, but it didn't have any critters which was a relief. Oh! The windows were yucky on the outside so if you want a good view to take pictures of, you need to fiddle with the camera to get the right focus off of the dirty windows and onto your view. The casino was nice and I went to see Criss Angel "Mindfreak" which was phenomenal. Note, don't get seats in rows L-N, those have an overhang that obscures your view. The location is awesome on the strip and pretty central to most of the tourist attractions. Overall the experience was GOOD, but not GREAT. Read less

First let me say that you can tell by my review badges that I have been around and this is not a one time reviewer bash. First let me say that you can tell by my review badges that I have been around and this is not a one time reviewer bash. I have stayed in hotels around the world from 5 stars to roadside mom and pops. The room I had at Planet Hollywood was hands down the worst room I have ever stayed in. It was by some sort of service elevators and it sounded like a train was roaring by the room multiple times a minute for an average of 21 out of the 24 hours in a day. The shafts are literally right beside a paper thin wall. I managed the stay by buying ear plugs, which they sell at the store downstairs, which should be a red flag, and multiple pillows on my head. The cleanliness of the room was good, the shower was sub standard, view was poor, but on a positive they have the best pillows I have come across. The hotel itself was well staffed so it’s not the management, it’s the build of the hotel and there apparently is nothing that can be done. If you go there and get rooms far away from the elevators it is probably ok but demand a room away from the service elevators or you will have a miserable stay Read less

Stayed at Planet Hollywood a couple years ago and enjoyed it so booked it again for this trip - and this will be the last visit here. Biggest complaint - the elevator noise!!! We are 2 rooms down from the elevator and it’s non-stop noise like a freight train going through our room. I feel really sorry for the room right next to it. After arriving and being told the room we reserved with a king bed is not available, we were given a 2 queen room - not the end of the world, but annoying when your booking it and it says Hurry only 5 king rooms left! Bait and switch in my opinion. No option for room service in the morning; seems very odd to me. If you google it, it does say 24 hours, but that is not the case - it ends at 12:30am and starts up again at 10am with zero breakfast options. Staff - my comment for this is our dealer at Black Jack was very unpleasant - my husband even tipped her and asked her if she could try to at least smile. Other people left the table when she came back from break because of her attitude. Same girl 3 days in a row with the same grumpy attitude. Considering they are charging over $400 a night this week, I feel they need to step it up - but mostly the elevator noise is unacceptable. I have never experienced anything like this before and we travel often. Read less

The overall resort was clean, however the casino was quite smoky. The ATM’s have an $11.99US service charge and when we canceled the transaction it still charged our bank card the full amount. Be careful.
