The hotel

This historic hotel was built by Vegas legend, Bugsy Siegel back in 1946 and it's seen countless celebrities walk through its doors in the last 60 years, as well as being the backdrop for the original Ocean's Eleven film and Viva Las Vegas. It has an amazing location right in the middle of The Strip and near the fantastic Caesars Forum Shops, with award-winning Flamingo Go Rooms. The hotel is great for kids with its amazing Beach Club Pool. The GO Pool offers a 21+ lively pool party experience with its amazing 15-acre tropical pool paradise, which has whirlpools and four different swimming pools nestled among the lush, green foliage. Then there's the Wildlife Habitat, where the resort's eponymous flamingos hang out with turtles, swans and ducks. There's a choice of seven restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and Margaritaville Casino, featuring the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place. The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, four distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000-sq ft retail store. You can also eat outside by the pool or even enjoy a spot of gambling in the pool casino located at the GO Pool! Do not visit if you care for the welfare of animals. Flamingos should not be kept here. Hard to find information online around their wing clipping practices. Plenty of other excellent places you can stay or visit whilst in vegas! Animals are not entertainment.

Great hotel had a blast till the last night the pit boss didn’t catch her name but she was a Hispanic younger lady was always on break never around when you needed her. Normally the drink lady was on point but it had been 30 minutes or more and at 75$ a hand I expected on point drink service she was extremely rude and I’m the most easy going person on the planet till I’m tested well she tested me and I lashed out after several attempts to be cordial. Instead of fixing the problem she chose to antagonize me little did she know I’m a professional smart a&& so she threatened me with removal from the casino I told her I was only looking for some drink service she told me to shut up sit down and mind my business everybody at the table including dealer new that it had been way to long for drink service over an hour at this point finally bet it all so I could tell her where to go and how to get there can’t wait to see her again!This was early morning 3:00 am over baccarat table.. The Hotel is shop worn and food prices are ridiculous given the condition of the hotel, plus the resort fee was $45 + with a pool under construction. You make enough money on gaming. Food prices for an average hotel are way out of line and you should be more transparent on your resort fee that is excessive given all the construction.

Do not stay here! No hot water things broken in room. Then lied about refund of resort fees and then no customer service after you check out! Not care to keep a customer. Was here with a sports tournament and definitely put in not to pick this property next year! You got a lot of options in Vegas don't pick Flamingo!

Great staff throughout the resort! From reception to baggage and from sports book to valet, they made every transaction easy and pleasant! All was clean and orderly, from our room, to the lobby, to the casino floor. Props for ADA compliance.
