Surrounded by lush palm trees, with views of the ocean, this hotel will have you feeling relaxed in no time. From the real hardwood flooring in every room to the volcanic slate flooring through the rest of the property the hotel symbolises the beautiful Hawaiian island throghout - giving you the real 'Beach Life' experience. Opt for a terrace room for the best views and outdoor space, and you'll get access to the Monkeypod Club Lounge too which also offers stunning views from the top of the hotel (and some free snacks of course!). The infinity pool is beautiful, and is accompanied by a poolside bar and restaurant that gives off 'Beach Club' vibes. You're only steps from Luxury Row with it's shops, restaurants and bars, and you can also be at the beach in no time - where you'll have beach chairs, umbrellas and all you need for a day on the sand. Oh, and we musn't forget about the sauna - Waikiki's only park view sauna, and that really adds to the experience.

As a multiple visitor to Hotel La Croix it never disappoints. Clean rooms, thank you Annie and staff. Miles, Wendell, and the week valet guys are great. (I forgot the weekend valet's name.) They all are [pleasant and talk story. Thank you to the front desk staff and GM Shaun for always making my stay great. I can hardly wait to return!

I like this hotel. This was my 4th time visiting. From check in to rooftop bar happy hour. Of all my visits this was the best. John was a whole vibe. His laugh is infectious. The drinks were bomb!!! The concierge guy was nice too. Housekeeping could use some help but they were still nice and accommodating.

Hotel La Croix is nicely situated near the entrance to Waikiki, across the street from historic Fort DeRussy Beach Park, right adjacent to “Luxury Row” upscale shops and a short walk past the Waikiki Post Office to the beach. There are beautiful ocean and park views from the upper floors. The hotel is a boutique style hotel and has all the amenities of a larger hotel, just on a smaller scale. Parking is valet only, but at a reasonable rate. There’s a co-ed sauna room with a separate shower room and 3 small, inter-connected saltwater pool(s). They also sell food and beverages at a small restaurant on the pool level where I did not buy anything; room service is also an option. The fitness center is well-equipped, but somewhat congested as you walk into the room; should possibly expand the fitness center or relocate some of the equipment to another area to reduce the congestion. There is a small lounge on the “Terrace” level (18th floor) of the 19 floor hotel. Access to the lounge is included for guests in certain category rooms or for an additional charge of $50 per day, but not worth the added expense, since the lounge only provides coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bottled water, canned soft drinks, light snacks and some fruit. The lounge does has wonderful views on the Terrace level. There’s a manager’s reception, with complimentary drinks, twice weekly but unfortunately not on the days I stayed at the hotel. All employees that I encountered were very cordial and helpful, from the valet to front desk. In summary, the hotel has everything, just on a smaller scale than big-name hotels, however, I would stay here again and recommend booking directly from the hotel’s website to take advantage of all available promotions and some discounted rates. My colleague chose this hotel, and I agreed to it because I had limited capacity to plan the upcoming business trip that took me to Honolulu. When I return, and I really hope to because Honolulu has charmed me, I will chose Hotel La Croix again. I appreciate the low-key atmosphere of this hotel. The other folks were were staying there seemed to be a wonderful mixture of travelers who may or may not have been "on vacation" in Hawaii. Not there is anything wrong with that, but Hotel La Croix did not seem overly "touristy" - but rather down to earth, with a super helpful staff, fairly plain, but super comfortable accommodations, a nice pool and sauna, a lovely view (mine was looking toward downtown Honolulu, which probably isn't the premium view, but I TOTALLY enjoyed it), a cool convenience store on site - and guest laundry!! Centrally located but not feeling like I was in the middle of Waikiki frenzy, and also easier to get out of Waikiki if your stay requires you to go elsewhere, as mine did with business in downtown Honolulu and also up near the University. I loved it, and I recommend this hotel. Read less
