This hotel is amazing. YES, they are currently doing some upgrades so sure, you have to see a couple of areas that aren't so perfect. But this hotel is impeccably operated, staff, cleanliness, food, services. It's all seamless. But the real treasure of this place is the staff- are all amazing- so friendly, on top of everything and will go out of their way to make you feel special as a guest. The rooms are spacious and the balcony facing ocean/pool is so relaxing. The regency club hosts go out of their way to remember you. Japengo is not to be missed. The bartenders at Umalu are so great- it is the best place to watch sports. We have a plans to return and cannot wait to experience Maui again! Read less

We visited the regency club which was a nice option for breakfast and appetizers. The retail stores in the hotel were a nice option including a coffee shop. Parking was easy and not too far. Every staff member was friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Rooms are bigger than standard hotel rooms and one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. It is nice that there is a refrigerator. I love everything about g about this hotel. The location, public areas, staff, pools, beach, location and walkability to many restaurants and the size and decor of the rooms. A lot of families here which I like. Not a convention feeling hotel. This was our second trip and we will be back
