Spanning 22-acres of oceanfront, adjacent to Keauhou Bay, this truly special resort offers a perfect location for an authentic Hawaiian experience. Most of the resort overlooks the ocean and feature beautiful colours and prints created by renowned Hawaii designer, Sig Zane. Another highlight is the fantasy pool, set on several different levels and dramatically nestled along the ocean’s lava cliffs — it really is unequalled in all of Hawaii, something we don’t say lightly! Kids will love the 200-foot winding waterslide at the oceanfront lagoon pool.

509 rooms and suites on 7 floors, across 4 buildings. All with private balcony or terrace, air conditioning satellite TV, telephone, WiFi access, mini refrigerator, bottled water, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, bathrobe, bathroom amenities, iron and ironing board. 

Resort View rooms have either 1 king-size bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Mountain View rooms feature views of Mauna Loa and tropical resort grounds, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Partial Ocean View rooms feature partial views of the Pacific Ocean, and have either 1 king-size bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Ocean View rooms feature breathtaking views of Keauhou Bay and the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Oceanfront rooms feature captivating views of the Kona coast, as well as the beautiful lawn and gardens, and have either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Partial Ocean View, Ocean View, and Oceanfront rooms can all also be booked as Club rooms, which includes access to Voyager 47 Club Lounge, offering complimentary breakfast, as well as evening drinks and appetizers.

Club Oceanfront Deluxe Suites feature a separate living area with sofa bed, wet bar, and oversized balcony, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people. 


Holua Poolside Bar & Lounge (serving island-inspired cuisine and a range of tropical drinks). Wailele Cafe (casual oceanfront restaurant serving Hawaiian and American cuisine, open for breakfast and dinner daily, with live music Thursday-Saturday evenings.)

Daily cultural activities and regular evening entertainment. 

Multi-level system of swimming pools with waterslide and children's section. 2 whirlpools. 24-hour fitness centre. Tracey Ann was great ! ❤️ will be coming back to eat she was very good to my daughter and myself -birthday vibes was very special time. The food was great. Also, make sure you get the dessert. Worth every penny. It help's when you have great staff. I see coming back here very soon . -alohas

Such a great experience here at Kona outriggers. Pedro, Angel, and Hiro delivered excellent service. The drinks were unique to the island and the food was delicious. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kona. When we return to Hawaii, we will be coming back!

We were treated so well with an upgrade to an ocean view, early check-in, late check-out. Our room was so comfortable with the balcony overlooking the ocean. We walked the grounds along pathways with blooming trees and plants. We especially enjoyed the outdoor restaurant by the pool. In fact at the end of our trip, we cancelled one of our nights… Read more

We only had 2 nights here, and our day was spent outside the resort, so didn’t get a chance to sample everything it had to offer. It was similar to other Outrigger resorts - lots of rooms so you are essentially just a number, with a huge car park several minutes walk from reception and a hefty parking charge to boot!! It was similar to other Outrigger resorts - lots of rooms so you are essentially just a number, with a huge car park several minutes walk from reception and a hefty parking charge to boot!! If you’re fortunate don’t want to eat at the resort, your options are fairly limited unless you want a long drive. There is a shopping village about 5 mins drive away which has a few restaurant options and a big store. Outrigger staff are happy and helpful, beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean and housekeeping staff very accommodating. Pools are great and easy to find a spot. Yoga classes are also great. Follow others advice and book the other classes as soon as you arrive, they fill up fast and offer less number of people in classes as other resorts. However, a few cons: had two hot showers the six days we were there. Rest no hot water in our room. Have not seen any other issues with this so may be our particular room. Complimentary products are minimal and okay in quality. No microwaves in rooms if you like to have one, said they are available but none when we were there. Room refrigerator holds a minimal amount or it will not cool. Read less
