Do not rent here

Worst Sheraton I’ve ever stayed at. Bad condition, small rooms and the staff is very rude. This feels like I’m staying at a nice motel 6. The bar is also depressing and bartender doesn’t know how to make any drinks besides a vodka soda. I would never stay here again.
Needs better cleaning standards

Was really optimistic that this would be a good stay, and unfortunately that was not the case. Upon check-in there was an extremely loud DJ playing at the bar which would be great if I could hear the front desk staff's questions when checking in but I couldn't hear them. Distance from the DJ to the front desk was several hundred feet. Not a major deal but overall DJ should have been playing slightly lower to create more of am ambiance vs club mood. Upon entering our room, well it wasn't bad, but certainly needs higher maintenance standards. The desk and remote were pretty worn as were the shutters. While the bathroom appeared clean, there was a thick layer of dust along the edges and corners, mirror, and in all the room pictures frames. The dresser in the room also had some marks that could have been wiped off with a bit of elbow grease. We decided on picking up cleaning wipes and handled the cleaning ourselves especially in the bathroom as we'd rather be sure it's clean vs a light dusting. One thing we did notice is that the elevators have no key card access requirement, thus anyone can walk in off the street and have access to the rooms. Overall, when we return to NO, we won't be considering this property. Read less

My stay at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until our departure, the warmth and kindness of the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and valued. My husband and I chose to celebrate our 37th anniversary here, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. The delicious food, lively DJ, and wonderful drinks created such a joyful atmosphere. While everyone at the hotel was genuinely friendly and accommodating, a few individuals truly stood out and deserved special recognition. Sherellda, our room attendant, provided exceptional care; Reece, the coordination manager, ensured everything ran smoothly; Essence, the VIP service manager, made us feel extra special; and Joel, the VIP lounge host, was so inviting. Lastly, Darnevin from the front desk was incredibly helpful. Their efforts made our celebration even more memorable, and I’m grateful to all of them. Read less
Nice location, fine hotel

Sheraton was a fine choice for a hotel right next to the French quarter. the shower water temperature and water pressure were a bit low. We appreciated the lounge for elite Bonvoy guests, with light snacks during the day and more substantial items in the evening.
Painfully slow valet service

The actual hotel accommodations were fine. The valet parking is the worst I have experienced at any hotel ever. It’s painfully slow to even get to the valet entrance because the cars are backed up down Canal Street . Retrieval of your vehicle when needed is also excruciatingly slow. It’s painfully slow to even get to the valet entrance because the cars are backed up down Canal Street . Retrieval of your vehicle when needed is also excruciatingly slow. I strongly recommend if you stay in this hotel that you park in one of the nearby garages. The closest one is about a 4 minute walk. Read less
