Lobby was good size, however this appears to be an older property that feels more like a Courtyard then a Marriott property. Property is clean and rooms are as well; however rooms show wear and tear, even after what appears to be a recent renovation. All the staff I encountered were friendly. Bonvoy Lounge is very small and limited. Read less

I have never slept in a more uncomfortable hard bed in my entire life. It was like sleeping on a rock. Disappointing bc the rest of the room seems decent but you go to a hotel to sleep and this was the worst night of sleep in my life. Honestly I will never try a Marriott again
Disappointing Experience and Unacceptable Treatment

We stayed at the Atlanta Airport Marriott from Friday to Monday with our service dog, Alaska, while attending an event in downtown Atlanta. During our stay, we had to leave briefly to drop our daughters off at a concert, leaving Alaska in the room for a short period. To our surprise, we received a call from the hotel informing us that our dog was barking. We returned promptly to address the situation and found that the noise from Alaska was not as disruptive as they had made it seem. Nonetheless, the hotel decided to evict us that same night, around eight or nine p.m., despite our reservation through the following day, which was fully paid, including parking and other amenities. What made matters worse was the way my wife was treated. She had to handle packing and leaving the hotel alone, surrounded by hotel staff as if we were being accused of wrongdoing. This invasive and unwarranted behavior made her feel as though she was constantly under watch, which was both inappropriate and humiliating. This experience left us deeply disappointed and frustrated. The situation was handled poorly, and the treatment we received was neither professional nor respectful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a service animal or expecting to be treated with empathy and consideration. Read less

We stayed at this hotel during our trip with a tour company to the Talladega Speedway race. Our room was on the ground floor with a door to the pool area which was peaceful and relaxing as this wing of rooms was very quiet. The restaurant on site is good and the staff there are all excellent and anxious to make the customer happy! The shuttle to and from the airport runs every 15 minutes - drivers were pleasant and this is a nice service over taking a cab. We have zero complaints about staying here. Read less

When I arrived I was unsure what I had come to, there was litter and overflowing bins in the external entrance area, large groups gathering and lots of noise. On entry things were better, it was very busy, reception is very bright and modern and the staff efficiently checked me in and pointed me in the direction of my room (room 102). On entry you could see the room was clean, had the usual items expected in a Marriott hotel however very dated. The furniture and fittings were tired and could do with a refresh. The room has an external door to your balcony/terrace which has a table and chairs where you can chill in your outdoor space if required. The bar/restaurant was very busy however the staff quickly served the needy customers. Good courtesy bus from the hotel to the airport which can be busy so be out 5-10 mins before it departs. I was only staying for 1 night I think like most other people and not sure If I would pick this Marriott again if in the area - lots of hotels to choose from. Read less
