Newly opened in 2024, the Riu Plaza Chicago is in the perfect location to explore the Windy City. Start your day with an American buffet breakfast in the hotel - it's included in your stay afterall! Then stroll to the corner of the street and you're already on Magnificent Mile so you can shop to your hearts content, and just a little further on is 360 Chicago for some unreal views of the city and Lake Michigan. Speaking of good views, the hotel has a rooftop bar on the 26th floor, so you can enjoy a cocktail with a glorious backdrop in the summer. And if it's a little chilly, you can cosy up in the lobby bar instead - so you're sorted all year round.

Deluxe Family Rooms have either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child.

Restaurant (offering American-style buffet breakfast). Rooftop Bar (located on the 26th floor, serving drinks and snacks - open seasonally). Great location only 1/2 block from Michigan Avenue. Great rate. All the staff were great. Breakfast buffet was a nice addition.

Beautiful RIU hotel only a few month open. Location is perfect. Delicious breakfast included. Staff friendly, General Manager even introduced himself to ask if everything was to my satisfaction.

This hotel was only open for 6 months when I stayed for a week. The decor and service is top notch. The rooms are beautiful. The breakfast they offer is way ABOVE average! I wasn't hungry for lunch everyday because I was so full from breakfast. And the selection for your breakfast is something I have never been offered at a complimentary breakfast before - ever. My only complaint and I can't really call it that - is that it's very high tech. Had to learn how to operate the shower and tv remote by trial and error. An instruction sheet would have been nice. But if you are high tech - you wouldn't have a problem probably. Read less
