An iconic landmark

Perfectly located at the top of Nob Hill, this hotel is iconic. The room was very comfortable and had great views of the Bay (when the sun broke through the fog) We enjoyed a beautiful dinner there and watched the moon rise from the very quiet outdoor gardens with our own bottle of wine. A lovely hotel experience in San Francisco!

Its in a nice safe neighbourhood too and walking distance to the Alcatraz ferry, through China town. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and it was all very nice. Just book this place, you won't be disappointed. One teeny tiny gripe, was that it was a long trek to actually get to our room from reception, so if that kind of thing is important to you ask for a room nearer reception. Read less
