Image of the Tripadvisor rating A RESORT FEE???!!! For an aging best western motel??? C'mon

Jan 12, 2025 Brian C

This aging motel in the middle of nowhere Utah has the nerve to charge a resort fee. They're not even honest about it. They hit you with it the day before you check in so you can't cancel. There is nothing "resort" about this motel. There are plenty of good mom n pop motels in Panguitch, only 15 mins down the road, that are a much better value for… Read more

Just another example of corporate greed, they are trying to pry every last dollar out of your wallet. If we are going to stop dishonesty like this we need to stand up these corporations and hit them in the pocket book. Shop main street, not Wall street. Read less

Traveled with spouse to hike in Bryce Canyon National Park and we were walk-in customers for 2 nights. Standard King room on 3rd floor was close to the elevator, clean and comfortable. You could hear folks walking around in the room above but quieted down at a reasonable bedtime. Breakfast buffet was one of the best presented in a Best Western… Read more

Beautiful hotel. Clean. Comfortable room. Really nice staff. Good breakfast. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Bryce Canyon. I would stay there again. This is just to reach 200 characters which is stupid and unnecessary. The hotel doesn't need more words. It was great.

Convenient! Room was great, well designed and spacious (suite). The breakfast buffet and dining room were inviting and still got us out into the park in a reasonable time. My husband got ill with a cold while we were there, and serving staff gave me containers and bags to take breakfast back up to our room for him. The room, with a love seat and… Read more

My husband got ill with a cold while we were there, and serving staff gave me containers and bags to take breakfast back up to our room for him. The room, with a love seat and extra chair helped him to be comfortable. The hotel is near the entrance to the park, across the highway from restaurants, a store that had camping and hiking supplies and just about everything in the world. Restaurants nearby. Really good pizza close! Read less

This hotel is very convenient to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. I visited during the off-season so the drive was less than 10 minutes. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast buffet was well stocked and the staff kept things running smoothly each morning. I was placed underneath a room under construction and had to make two calls to the front desk to get the hammering to stop. This was at 6 PM on a Sunday evening, so not a great way to relax after a day in the park. Request a room on the top floor to get a little extra quiet. Read less
