Fun and futuristic, Yotel has found its spiritual home in Boston’s Seaport neighbourhood – its tech-driven ‘Innovation District’ is the perfect setting for this tech-savvy hotel, with Boston’s famous sights just moments away thanks to the subway stop in its basement. Inspired by the digital age and styled with a tongue-in-cheek nod to first class travel, guest rooms are called ‘cabins’, you get free superfast WiFi throughout, and you even check in at airport-style self-service desks (although Yotel’s ‘Mission Control crew’ are always ready to help). Even the social spaces are first class themed – from the lobby’s Club Lounge with its casual dining and complimentary tea and coffee, to the rooftop’s Sky Lounge, with its views over Boston’s skyline and harbour, refreshing ‘Cabin Cooler’ cocktails, innovative light bites, and playlists designed by its ‘Sound Architect’.

They sure know their jobs as they never let us experience frustrations. Read less
GREAT VALET EXPERIENCE
Jan 24, 2025Shirley P
The hotel is a beauty to behold but the Valet service was the highlight for me, as they were very professional, courteous, on time and they sure treated my car with tender loving care. I have had distasteful experiences with valet in other states but the manager or supervisor of the valet at Yotel Boston earned my respect.
"Welcome to the future" aesthetic but comfortable efficiency hotel

The staff were excellent. They waived an early check-in fee since I arrived early and asked if I could drop my bags at the front desk. The decor looks like what the year 2000 thought 2025 would look like, very retro future. My only complaint was the shower was badly designed. The glass door didn't seal good and kept leaking. The decor looks like what the year 2000 thought 2025 would look like, very retro future. My only complaint was the shower was badly designed. The glass door didn't seal good and kept leaking. The knob to switch from the wand to the rainfall was finicky and the wand is a smooth metal cylinder so it's easy to fumble. If the shower was left in rainfall mode you get blasted by cold water turning it on. Ultimately not a big deal. The beds fold up like a futon to save space. For a budget hotel built for efficiency it was pretty comfortable. The restaurant was a bit expensive but surprisingly very good. I don't usually expect much from hotel restaurants and to be fair the whole South Boston Waterfront is expensive. I'd stay again. Read less
