This Westin is one of the best managed that I have ever stayed it and will continually return to. The hotel is located exactly where you want to be in downtown Boston (Copley area, close to many great places and fully connected indoor to Shopping malls). The hotel has been completely renovated with rooms that are completely modern, well decorated, cozy, and have fantastic views . We stayed very high up and the view was spectacular. The lobby restaurant was really good - so happy I ate there. Note, for Bonvoy elite members, the Lounge was really great on the 5th floor - Top service, excellent snacks and delicious Hors d’Oeuvre. The best part of all was Brandin at the front desk (along with Eunice). He provided a sincere warm welcome with a smile, made us feel at home and took great attention to detail with helping us get the best room available - truly thankful. They both exemplified true professionalism in attitude and job execution. Wow! Very impressed. The whole Front Office and Operations Team should be congratulated. Thanks again for a great stay!! Keep up the great work. Read less

So i paid a night to NOT stay there. Insulting to say the least especially as a Titanium Bonvoy Member. Worst was this was self inflicted by the property to bill me for a room i did not stay in? that was the incredulous part. NO follow up from the hotel of my complaints. just an awful waste of time and insulting . Executive lounge is closed on weekends. Much better treatment at other properties and why anger your most loyal supporters incredible. Stayed in La Concha Key West a couple nights later had trouble making the arrival day for the reservation, they were more than happy to help me change my dates. That was service. Ungrateful Westin Copley so too many Bonvoy Properties Competing and hotel was not that great on top of that. so so restaurant and front desk understaffed. Otherwise it was ok Read less

Located in reasonable walking distance of the gardens and the common the hotel offers spacious rooms, access to a variety of good restaurants in the area, a convenient high end shopping mall and some local attractions. This was my 3rd or 4th visit to this hotel, and each visit has gotten progressively more disappointing. Also not the place to be if you get sick. It feels like my room is downgraded with each visit (from floor to view) , which is understandable, bc as a platinum member I probably got an upgrade the first time, and each time after that just got what was available. Still disappointing, but not a big deal. I was feeling sick this trip and was mostly confined to my room, I ordered room service the first night, but by the next day I didn’t want anything on the menu (just needed some comforting soup and was tired of their clam chowder) and I ordered outside food and needed utensils. Room service said it would take 35min to bring utensils. Or needing to heat the outside food ($10 fee and also 30 minute wait). Or the lack of 24 hour room service- I was inside on back to back calls and tried to order lunch and was told no room service available during the day. Then when checking out, the printers were broken, there were mistakes on the bill, I had to rush out so they said they would fix it and email me. But over, just left me feeling not great about the hotel. That said, bed was comfy. Rooms were in decent condition, and most importantly the location is close to our offices. If it were not for the location, I would stay elsewhere, and would not recommend the hotel. Read less

The staff at the Westin Copley Place always makes me feel at home. A shout out to Duane, Irene and the Westin Club Staff (David, Tia, Freddy & Chen). Excellent location in Back Bay. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Highly recommend this hotel.
