This is the fifth Hyatt Regency I’ve stayed at. It’s a little smaller than some of the others I’ve stayed at but still great. There was something charming about this hotel. At first glance, one may think the hotel is dated, and in some areas I do agree (certainly the gym), but there are some great modern touches and surprises here and there. I requested (by texting the hotel) to be moved from the 10th floor to a higher floor (I did book a high floor suite to begin with). I’m not sure who upgraded me but they put me on the top floor with a city view! 22nd floor, 2226. I’m glad they were able to honor my original request, that made my stay even better. My only complain is the destination fee - I didn’t really get much use out of it, other than the $10 credit at dinner, and the magnet they gave me at checkout (it was so cute!) I’m not a clam chowder person but it was still nice of them to give a couple of coins for free clam chowder. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Read less

Hotel is perfectly located to access all that downtown boston has to offer. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend. Room was clean and well appointed upon arrival with all promised amenities.

Nicely sized with ample storage, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, large TV and all amenities in the bathroom. Shower etc was ok. Not great pressure in it but did what was needed! There's a nice bar in the reception area which was always busy with great staff who were all really chatty and polite. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area. Read less

The location is perfect, easy to travel any sites and close to city center. Hotel is 4 star without swimming pool. The lobby is at 3rd floor, which makes the luggage service not in time. The overall stay is fine , but I do have high expectations . Hoping water can be supplied in room.
