The hotel

As synonymous with Boston as the eponymous tea party and cream pie, Hilton Boston Park Plaza has been a landmark on the city’s hotel circuit since it opened 90 years ago. Reinterpreted for the 21st century traveller with a $100 million mega-makeover, it now adds contemporary décor and mod-cons to its timeless elegance. And you’re in good company, with all bar two US Presidents staying here since it opened. It’s easy to see why, with a top-drawer location near Boston Common. Of course, they wouldn’t all have experienced today’s attractions, which include a mammoth 20000 SF Health Club, the nightly cocktail hour (well 5 hours) in the Library, and the New England inspired dining of its Off the Common restaurant, with Boston’s signature lobster rolls a menu favourite.

1054 rooms. All with 47” interactive smart TV, Keurig coffee maker, safe and 100% blackout shades. Standard Rooms are compact and 150 to 180 square feet in size, with 1 double bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Superior Rooms are 180–280 sq ft and have 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child (3rd guest on a rollaway bed*).

Deluxe Rooms are 280–380 sq ft and have 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child (3rd guest on a rollaway bed*).

One Bedroom Suites are 530 sq ft and have a separate living room, full bathroom and additional powder room, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Studio Suites are 350_550 sq ft and have city views and a living space with leather sofa, with 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Off the Common (lobby restaurant; open for breakfast and limited late night menu). STRIP by Strega (sophisticated lounge and contemporary steakhouse). M.J O'Connor's (Irish pub). Starbucks®. Thank you Moses and Jennifer!!!!!! Everything was wonderful and all the staff were lovely. Check in and check out was easy and my conference went so smoothly. The food was excellent, and the service was great. Everyone was very professional and welcoming.

Great place to stay. In the city for a night of theater, nice walk to the Citizens Opera house. Fantastic room and Singh at check in made us feel like VIPs even tho we're just regular working people. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxoooooooooooooooooxxx
