Little America Hotel was larger and more spread out than it's name suggests. It is surrounded by 500 acres of beautiful walking trails with lots of squirrels and other wildlife. The lobby was decorated tastefully with two huge Christmas trees, the gift shop was also very inviting with friendly staff. Whilst I knew that visiting in the Christmas season, the hotel has it's annual 'Holiday of Lights' experience, I failed to realise it's attraction with children. I split my time there with one night 29Dec and my room was located on the 2nd floor. I have some back issues and although there is a lift and porter service (if you need it), it was a fair way for me to walk to the room down the long corridor but, the beautiful view I had of all the Christmas Lights right outside my window made it worth the walk! Unfortunately, the long corridor also made the perfect running track for screaming children, so quite noisy. Having just travelled up from Phoenix, I was hoping for some peace, but I know that guests come and go and I assumed it would be different next time I checked in. And, that is was. My next stay was from 01Jan for another 5nts and I asked for a room on the lower floor. The staff gladly obliged and it was further to walk however, as it was at the end of a long corridor this time, there was less foot traffic and my view was that of the car park. There were two other entrances nearby for 'guests only' (room key access) that were more convenient for me than having to walk to/from the lobby. The hotel overall was very nice, disappointed though that housekeeping was on request only. When I'm on holiday, the last thing I want to be doing is making my bed! Sadly, 'on request' housekeeping seems to be a trend these days. Vacuuming must also be on request at this hotel, as I noticed the same small pieces of litter remained in the corridor for the duration of my stay. Aside from that, my Grand One Bed King room was superb! My bed was really comfortable, there was a sofa, TV and desk area, a separate powder room off the main bathroom and the shower was huge! The room included a fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker (sorry, but the coffee was quite disgusting). I had to boil tap water in the microwave to make tea. Even trying to get a decent coffee in the Silver Pine Restaurant was impossible. Breakfast was also in the Silver Pine Restaurant, food was lovely with an A la carte menu but when I asked for a couple of teabags to take back to my room, they charged me USD$5 for each teabag!! Lunch here was pleasant with some tables overlooking the gardens, food was served in pretty good sized portions and prices were fair. Approx 2min walk from the hotel there is a guest laundry together with a convenience store, a trucker cafe and a service station. The cashier at the convenience store gives you change for the washing machines/dryers. When I asked about buying a box of teabags, the cashier told me that I could just help myself to some from the cafe for free! Amazing! I sat in the cafe with a great cup of tea while I waited for my washing. Apart from the coffee, this hotel is an ideal base for any long stay holiday in and around Flagstaff, it has everything you need in one place. Both reception and the restaurant/bar staff were awesome! Most of them got to know me pretty quickly by name but a special shout out to Andrew & Diedra at the bar! Thank you both for making me feel so welcome. Both bar food, drinks and service were excellent and no doubt this is where I spent most of my time in the evenings! Read less

We were on the road heading home to California. We just wanted a clean, reasonably priced, motel near I40. I checked on a hotel booking app and found Litte America Hotel for under $100. The portions were huge! The dining room was so pretty and just walking across the hall to the bathroom was amazing. It’s a beautiful place. The calcite chandeliers were beautiful and the slabs displayed with copper blue bleeding into the rock slice were beautiful. The walk from our room past the hot tub pool area was so pretty too! Then we met Albert and his girlfriend who came up close to our window in the morning. It was cool just being here. Read less

The Little America hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment we laid eyes on it, with the twinkling Christmas lights everywhere around the property, to the lobby with the cute gift shop and roaring fire in the fireplace, to Michaela’s super friendly greeting, we knew we were in for a treat. The room was very large and extremely clean, with two sinks/vanities, one inside the bathroom and one outside. The bathroom itself was very large, with an all-glass enclosed, modern, shower and upscale CO Bigelow toiletries. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of seating between the desk chair and large corner, high-back, chair, to the ample (larger than standard hotel size) sofa. All in all, we had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel! Read less
