Mediocre and Sad reality of a luxury resort

Practically everything apart from the architecture of the hotel is a disaster well at least for us. Cold and inhospitable staff. Experience started from the moment we literally stepped in the hotel. As a hotelier myself I can just detect those fake smiles and greetings. We drove from Dubai to your hotel which was long enough to be looking forward to a comfortable stay. I got confused about the entrance and ended up parking myself which I don't mind doing anyway. Since it was around 80 meters walk to the reception I decided to go in and request someone to take the luggage. In comes Menura who was taking our check in and outrightly said a flat NO to my request which really irked me. He asked me to get the car to the porch and then they can assist with our luggage which was practically 2 weekend bags. To add to this again those tip seeking concierge guys saw me going to the car and offloading my luggage and only offered me to carry them when I was 15 meters away from the door and of course with those fake smiles, the guy just asked me how was my drive 2 min back and repeated the same thing like a robot!!! Well practically the restaurant by the pool was no better, Sujan tried really hard to offer a good service but a shish tawook still took more than 25 min to come. Restaurant had 2-3 more tables occupied that's it. The lady Manager Nourah was just too important to even check on our table when she could see us waiting. Next day at breakfast which was good overall but the Hostess was no where to be seen checking who had breakfast in the package or not. So someone can walk in have a nice sumptuous free breakfast and leave the most prominent luxury resort in Fujairah. My wife's name is Linda Jacob but I kept seeing MR. JACOB on the TV, during IRD order so absolutely no common sense there either.I really didn't want to see all these as I had better things in mind but the check in experience just ticked me off. We wanted to make the fullest of our stay but this mediocrity all around forced is to check out by 1040 hrs the next day. I thought of saving the Sunday for us by not being at your hotel. We carried our own luggage down from 218 with no assistance provided either which conformed the indifference upon check in. The Girl at the door seemed genuine and concerned but I didn't bother that little thing. Also, please look at the Dubai Mall book opp the elevator, it's in a tattered state and I am sure you don't want EMAAR VIPs to look at it in that state. The money we paid for our stay and dining was practically robbed from us for such a below par experience. We specifically came to experience your hotel as we had nothing else in mind to dining Fujairah and just there but you ruined a happy weekend. for us. Apology email promising better rates and upgrade but not valid on special dates also shows the depth of your apology. You shouldn't have wasted so much time on the call either! Read less

Thank you for the excellent daily cleaning. Everything is very clean and neat. Polite staff, Rabbie and Sandesh are great guys, they do their job very well. Delicious food in the restaurant, there are Indian vegetarian dishes, drinks. I want to come back here again

Susila and Sujan - from Address Lobby Lounge. Very nice and efficient people. Courteous. Also housekeeping and reception team - very nice people. All in all, the whole address team is very nice. Stay was appreciated sincerely. Recommended place.
