Had a fantastic experience staying at Amwaj Rotana Hotel, JBR over New Year. We had an Ain View room which was very spacious inn accommodating 2 adults and 1 child (12). We opted for a King Bed with the sofa bed conversion for our son. The view from the room balcony was amazing, overlooking JBR The Walk, Jumeirah Beach & Bluewater Island. Excellent amenities in the room included Minibar, tea & coffee facilities, balcony, large flat screen TV, bathrobes & slippers. Complimentary Wi-Fi worked well throughout the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location to step out and enjoy all the attractions of The Walk area, and is steps away from Jumeirah Beach. There a plenty of dining options from Horizon's All day dining (breakfast / lunch / dinner) buffet options, the breakfast choice was superb. For A La Carte, there is a Gastropub style restaurant - JB's, offering great food options and a huge selection of drinks. Rosso Italian restaurant was really nice - indoor and outdoor dining, and finally we enjoyed the Japanese Benihana and the Teppanyaki experience. The hotel also has a Club Lounge where we had breakfast a couple of times and enjoyed complimentary evening drinks and canapes from 1800 - 2000. Being on the top floor the views were amazing from the Club Lounge balcony. As we stayed over New Year we decided to join the Gala Dinner event at Rosso. Such a brilliant night with great food & drink service, live band, belly dancer and DJ. Being outside we were able to watch the Drone show and NYE fireworks at midnight over The Palm and Jumeirah Beach - very special. This hotel offers a variety of dining options from B&B, Half & Full Board and even an All Inclusive Dine Around to enjoy all the restaurants within the package. Overall this is an excellent hotel choice when staying in Dubai. The pool deck has plenty of sunbeds & the pool is a really good size, with a separate kids pool. You are in the heart of all the action of the Jumeirah Beach / JBR area. Great location to explore all the attractions of Dubai !! Read less

The refurbishment throughput the hotel is evident, the rooms are spacious and well maintained, offering views of the pool, beach and Bluewaters. The staff are very customer focused, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast service is excellent with so much choice. Great pool area with the Sundeck bar and the Spa is definitely worth a visit. JB's bar offers a relaxing option for the evening with a decent menu choice too. From the moment we arrived at this hotel we were made to feel welcome, the location is perfect. The staff at the breakfast always had a smile, we had the old years night celebrations in the hotel and it was fantastic, the waitress assigned to our table (Sajini) was really friendly and helpful. To be honest all the staff weee excellent.
