Where is it
On a lagoon near the fishing village of Trou d’Eau Douce, opposite beautiful Ile aux Cerfs, with a free shuttle running to the island for swimming and sunbathing. It is also 15 minutes’ drive from Belle Mare, and an hour’s drive from the capital, Port Louis. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes (Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route).

This was our 30th visit to The Tropical, and it was great to see so many friends that also returned as repeat guests to the Tropical. Beautiful property with sea facing room. I would like to appreciate their staff for being very welcoming to their guest. We are from India and were looking for vegetarian food in mauritius. We met Chef Vikash at tropical attitude and he made indian food specially for us. We were very happy for the kind of attention they give to their guests🙂

Hotel with really good ambience. The staff here is very friendly and supportive. Chefs (Chef Vikash and Chef Roy) had really helped us with with some amazing Indian food as we, being pure vegetarian, struggled alot for Indian food initially. Overall it was a great experience at Tropical Attitude and can be recommended.

We specifically requested for Indian food during our tour. The chefs and staff are really very helpful and they arranged for special Indian food for 7 straight days. Special thanks to Chef Roy and Chef Vikas. The staff was helpful too. Hospitality and cleanliness was superb.
