The hotel

Nestled in beautiful tropical gardens, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a gorgeous adults-only boutique hotel, offering guests a secluded retreat from the world. Aptly named, it really is paradise here with a pristine white beach and exceptional views of the lagoon and the northern islands from the peninsula. Highly romantic, the resort even offers ‘love nest’ twin sun beds. Also recommended is a visit to Spa Cinq Mondes. Not only does it boast a pool, hammam and flower baths, you can treat yourself to an Indian Ayurvedic massage — sure to banish any lingering cares! At the Paradise Cove, water sports are very much the order of the day, from snorkelling to water-skiing. Come dusk, Stay Bar is the place to sip on tropical cocktails whilst admiring the sunset. There’s live and unplugged music here too but first enjoy dinner at a choice of restaurants. For local dishes, the Dining Room is ideal or experience Asian fusion cuisine at XO. For a real treat, book a table at The Cove — highly romantic, tables for two are set in small huts, right on the beach, beside a coconut grove.

We have just returned from a 12 night stay at Paradise Cove and what an amazing time we had. This was our third visit to the hotel, and it won't be our last. Our room was ready early and we were allowed to keep our room until 5 p.m. on the day we left. From the minute we arrived we were so well looked after, the staff are amazing and the facilities are just great. You can do as much or as little as you like, lie on the beach, go on a boat, go out on trips, swim, go for a massage. It's all there for the taking. We spent every day on the beach other than one day out to the Botanical Gardens. Michael, as always, was a star and looked after us so well. He is an absolute gem. We ate in XO and the Cove, the main dining area and Stay. All of the food was wonderful, varied, and there was plenty of it. The drinks in the AI package are great, we had a great time trying all the local rums and the non alcoholic cocktails were great for hot days on the beach. For us the one thing this hotel has going for it is the staff, each and every one of them is just incredible, they are kind, caring and always smiling! How they do it in the heat there I don't know, especially when some guests can be very rude. We have been back 2 days and we are already planning our next visit. I will say that I prefer November to January as the humidity in January is very high, as is the UV rate. The rooms have everything you need, ours had European plugs, English plugs and USB plugs, and although the drinks in the fridge are limited, they really are all you need. We love that the Paradise Cove is adult only, as much as we love our grown children and grandchildren, it is nice at our age to have time just for ourselves. This is not the hotel for anyone with disabilities, I have some mobility issues and struggled with the steps, but everyone was very kind and helpful. It was worth struggling with them though to stay there! This hotel is well named, and it really is a bit of paradise, made better by the incredible staff. Read less

The massage / spa is heavenly with strong and good masseuses, lots of activities from cyclingtrips, waterspouts, yoga, sailing trips , pool, books, dart and the place is just so comfy and clean and nice. A very 'home-like' welcoming feeling all over. The rooms have a killer view and are just so beautifuland spacey. My best recommendation. I have been traveling all over the world and seen many many hotels - this stands out. Wauw! Read less
