When you step through the doors of this adults only resort, you'll instantly know you've reached paradise. Soak up the splendour of your surroundings with typical Mauritian architecture, decor inspired by the sea, and a roundabout bar with 360º views of the pool and glistening ocean beyond. The resort is located in front of one of the largest lagoons of Mauritius, Anse la Raie lagoon, and you can spend your days trying out the complimentary water sports, including glass bottom boat rides, or sail out on the resorts catamaran with daily full day excursions (at extra costs). We booked this resort last minute after a holiday to St Lucia was cancelled. In hindsight, I am so pleased that our holiday cancelled, as this place is a gem and very good value for money. Whilst it’s a four star resort, it does not compromise on quality. Everything is kept pristine, attention to detail is paramount across every aspect of your stay - from your arrival to check out. Food is lovely throughout the buffet and the restaurants. Drinks are okay but could be improved with some minor tweaks. Amenities are great and there is plenty to do. For us, we preferred the chilled out vibes of Coral. Although I understand the concept of it being completely silent, the experience of the coral pool/bar could be elevated with some chilled instrumental music. We hired a car for a couple of days and stayed at an apartment In Le Morne, which broke up the trip nicely. Would recommend getting out of the resort and taking in the wonderful sites of Mauritius. During our couple of days out, Lagoon attitude organised for us to spend a day at sunrise attitude, where we swam and ate lunch. It was good to compare the two resorts and it confirmed to us that Lagoon is a cut above the rest and we had made the correct decision booking this one. Special thanks to Usmah for keeping our room clean and Rateeh in the buffet room for always keeping our drinks topped up. Read less

The restaurant taba-j is by far the best experience and Krishna looked after us exceptionally every visit( check out his beautiful eyes). The chef Spencer and ramsahye serve the most incredibly tastey authentic food. The cooking lesson is fabulous also, very tasty. Do not miss it!

What a hotel! Can you believe we had a smoking toilet and water running from the shower?!!!! Never had that before in a hotel… That’s just a running joke we had and to catch the attention of the amazing staff. I am VERY late to writing my review of the hotel but it is better late than never! My husband and I had our Honeymoon in August 2024 (15-26th) We first went to Dubai and then ended at Lagoon Attitude. Through our travel counsellor, this hotel seemed to tick a lot of the boxes we were looking for when trying to find somewhere to book. We went during August which was the only availability we had for the length of time due to my job. The weather was hit and miss, we caught the tail end of an ‘anti-cyclone’ (that’s what they call it). Despite having showers, wind, sun and sun and cloud, the weather didn’t deter us and we knew this would be a high possibility when booking August (their winter season). In all honesty, the rainy days gave us time to simply relax and do NOTHING. Something very needed after planning a wedding. This was one concern I had as an avid sun and warmth chaser but in all honesty, I realised it didn’t matter in the end as that’s part and parcel with 1. Choosing somewhere halfway across the world during their winter months and 2. Exploring somewhere new (it was also a complete opposite from the 46 degrees heat in Dubai!) The auditorium gave us some shelter during the rainy time and it was here was got chatting to a bunch of wonderful couples. The hotel staff were top tier - they simply couldn’t do enough for us! They made us feel welcomed, at ease and important from the minute they arrived. A special mention goes out to Milana - girllll, I feel I’ve met you in a past life but you are top tier front of house! Your energy is superb and the hotel are lucky to have you! Carine is an angel and came to our rescue upon booking excursions, sorting out our takeaway breakfast and being there to answer and sort every question I had! The bar staff went above and beyond. My husband and I are pretty big drinkers but guys behind the bar quickly caught on to that and ensured we were never waiting with an empty glass. A special shout out to Akshay and Ashil - top two bar managers who got the brunt end of our pranks but were there ready to fix whatever ‘problem’ we had (see photos for reference). They honestly couldn’t t do enough for us and again, always ensured we were served quickly. Another shout out Kushan and Surrenda. We tipped the bar staff at the very beginning and front of house at the end because we loved the immediate, friendly service we received. I think regardless if we tipped or not, they would’ve delivered brilliant service but they worked SO hard we continued to tip at the end. The hotel might not offer the full 5star luxury that other hotels nearby offer but we seriously could not fault a single thing! The entertainment was ON POINT every single night and the singers/bands they have in coming in are just fantastic. We utterly adored the chill, relaxed environment and just sat, drinking beer and cocktails and listening to the fabulous music. The hotel seemed to attract similar characters because we met so many couples; those who had also just got married, were on an anniversary, engaged or just there for a holiday but the company of everyone was just brilliant. We made connections with couples that we could share the cost of excursions with and could dance away or meet up with at night time. Mauritius is such a beautiful island and we are so happy we got to experience a small slice of their culture. It was a shame we didn’t get the full sunshine we had hoped for but we did get to do every excursion we had set out to do (Chamarell distillery, seven colours of the earth, Chamarell waterfalls, dolphins and whale watching, exploring the town/markets, the beaches AND a helicopter ride over the Le Mourne waterfall illusion. We feel considerably lucky as despite the anti-cyclone, lots of people before and after us struggled to get their excursions booked due to the weather so we achieved everything we wanted on our wish list with the addition of meeting amazing people AND leaving fully rested, especially after a few busy days in Dubai. Food wise, we are both big foodies. Our travel counsellor booked in advanced and booked us about 5 a-La cArte nights for dinner. I think this also included our Honeymoon meal. We ate at all the restaurants and our absolute favourite was Taba-J (authentic Mauritian food truck). If we could’ve ate here at night, we would’ve! The food was absolutely delicious! We have many places left to tick off on our adventure list but we will definitely be back to Mauritius for a wedding anniversary. Whichever anniversary we choose, we will be sure to come back and visit this beautiful island. Read less

There is a choice of 3 restaurants to have lunch and there is a choice of 4 for dinner as long as you book in advance. Veeky the manager makes you feel important and made lemongrass tea also a beautiful cocktail with basil, cucumber all fresh it was the best! The service at night is excellent and the entertainment is local and varied. The rooms are well looked after every day it’s cleaned and towels changed when you require them. Nothing is a problem to anyone working here, I can’t praise it enough, it’s the best place I’ve visited and would love to return to this hotel. Read less
