In the north of Mauritius, close to the beach near Cap Malheureux. Approximately 4km from lively Grand Baie. The lovely beach is situated across the road in front of the hotel. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

All Inclusive option: includes breakfast in Le Cap restaurant, lunch in Le Cap restaurant or Taba-J (traditional Mauritian street food), and dinner in Le Cap restaurant or Kot Nou (reservations required, open 4 times per week). Local beverages including water, tea, coffee, local beer, soft drinks, local wines and local spirits 11:00am–11:00pm. Selected drinks from the mini-bar. Afternoon tea/coffee and pastries. Entertainment every night was amazing, especially the DJ on Saturday night. We really enjoyed the Glass Bottom boat trip. Rooms are reasonable size and well appointed, with balcony. Good size swimming pool. Rooms are spread out and generally quiet - though soundproofing could be improved. The main downside is that the hotel is right on the busy coastal road. Our room was opposite that road, so sitting out on the balcony wasn't peaceful. You also had to cross that road to get to the beach (which is good for swimming and spotting herons). Our highpoint was enjoying the special Mauritian very generous "Taster Menu" a la carte evening meal for which the staff managed to find a place for us at short notice even though it was fully booked. One evening my wife had, in her words, "one of the best massages ever", with Bhavesha. All in all, a great stay. Read less
