The hotel

Nestled within the Noonu Atoll, a group of unspoilt islands just a 45 minute seaplane journey north of Malé (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Board basis options

Half Board option includes: buffet breakfast at Iru Restaurant, and a 3-course dinner menu at either Trio, Flavours, Taste of India, or Bamboo, or buffet dinner at Iru Restaurant. You will also receive 50% discount (food only) at Islander's Grill for dinner.

Full Board option includes: the same meal options as the Half Board plan, with the addition of lunch at Bamboo, Reflections, or Fluid Bar. You will also receive 50% discount (food only) at Islander's Grill for lunch and dinner.

24-hour All Inclusive option includes: the same inclusions as the Full Board plan, with the addition of 50% discount on In-villa dining (food only) at lunch and dinner. Enjoy selected beverages in all operational bars and restaurants, one snack per person, per day at Waters Edge from 10:30am-6:30pm and 10.00pm - 6.30am, daily ice cream at La Cremeria, mini-bar with wine, beers, soft drinks, water, tea/coffee, and 4 coffee capsules, refilled once per day. All Inclusive of the following activities: stand up paddle boarding or kayaking (one hour per day, per villa). One local island experience excursion per person per stay. Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool are the same size and layout as the Deluxe Beach Villas, with the additional of a private pool stretching out onto the beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Family Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool are larger in size, with a sliding door separating the bedroom and living area, as well as a private pool stretching out onto the beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children.

Pool Beach Villas feature a curved private pool with daybed and canopy, as well as a separate living area and bedroom with king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children.

Water Villas are perched above the lagoon on stilts, with steps leading straight into the ocean, and feature a glass viewing floor, private sun deck, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Horizon Water Villas are similar to Water Villas, with the addition of an outdoor jacuzzi on the deck with uninterrupted ocean views, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Sunset Horizon Water Villas offers the same layout and features as the Horizon Water Villas, but are positioned for sunset views from the deck.

This island and resort are among the absolute best on all parameters. Lovely atmosphere, superb restaurants, friendly and super serviceminded staff all around the resort. Will recommend this to everyone looking for calm and luxury experiences on the Maldives.

I pre booked different restaurants each evening on the app prior to our visit. Weather was changeable but always warm, we had a few thunderstorms and rain but mostly lovely, a bit overcast. We had 3 water villas for 6 of us. They couldn’t do enough to make sure we were looked after. We booked the free hour in the spa with a facial and plunge pool and sauna. Paddled boarded, took out the glass bottom boat. Loved walking across the wooden walk ways to the diving centre to see the 3 turtles nearly every day. One afternoon it rained so we went to the main bar and the guys got us up to make cocktails, which was really fun. Breakfast buffet is fabulous, omelette guy is awesome, lots to choose from. My daughter is vegan and they couldn’t do enough to ensure she was looked after. Loved the Indian restaurant, one of the tastiest Indian I’ve had. We tried the Italian, French and Bamboo restaurants, at the Bamboo Asian the lady Shuoon & Vivik were so helpful, as were Nishal, Thalina & Narendra at the waters edge bar. Our butler Shahudhaan was awesome, he looked after us & we had my partner Mum 87 with us and he made sure she was looked after. 2 of the group went on the day trip to swim with turtles and mantra rays and the film they brought back was absolutely stunning. 3 of the girls hired jet skis. 4 of us went on the big yellow duck ride and didn’t stop laughing it was hilarious. Tired to solve the treasure hunt on a few days. With 6 of us we just couldn’t manage to take advantage of everything on offer, if you ever think it’s just for honeymooners then think again because our group of 6 compromised of 3 girls aged 22-24, us 2 age 54 and my partner mum. We had such an incredible time. Found the games room with pool table. Snorkelled out the back of our villas and from the back of the dive centre, saw a few dolphins from there. We saw different rays, the 3 turtles, so many fish and sharks and loved seeing the bats in the day & night. Lovely boutique and gift shop.. We enjoyed 3course lunches at the family bar and pool even when there was a thunderstorm and the food at the adult bar and pool was fabulous. We had beach bags.
