Located 118km northwest of Malé in Baa Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 20-minute fixed wing domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Island followed by a 10-minute speedboat transfer to Royal Island.

148 classically designed Beach Villas. All with terrace, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, hairdryer, and safe, bathrobes and slippers, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.
All Inclusive option: includes breakfast lunch and dinner in the main restaurant and afternoon tea and snacks at the pool terrace. Drinks include bottled water, tea and coffee, canned or bottled soft drinks and juice. House wine, beer and selected house brand spirits (gin, vodka, rum, arrack, brandy & whiskey) plus selected cocktails, from the main bar and pool terrace, from 10:00am–1:00am. Mini-bar with two small coca colas and two canned fruit juices, replenished once per day (all other items at a charge). Sports including snorkelling equipment, dingy sailing and canoeing. One night-fishing excursion per guest per stay, when staying 6 nights or more.

Premium all inclusive: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main restaurant. Guests can also select one a la carte meal per day at the pool terrace or Raabondhi restaurant. Afternoon tea, a wide range of wines, beers and premium brand spirits, cocktails, tea & coffee, soft drinks and bottled water throughout the day. Mini-bar (replenished once daily) and a selection of land and water sports such as badminton, tennis, snorkelling, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. $100 credit per person per stay can be used towards either the spa or diving.

We had a fabulous honeymoon at Royal Island Resort, it was so comfortable, calm and happy stay. We really enjoyed the stay, the hospitality as well as the food. Our host Noble was really great and also the room staff wonderfully did his job. We are satisfied and happy.

Absolutely exceptional there is not one thing we could fault the location and facilities are incredible. We came to the resort in October for our honeymoon. Quickly meeting our personal butler for the duration of our stay. We had the incredible Myatal we were so lucky, she went above and beyond to make sure we had the most wonderful and memorable experience. She has the most kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold we absolutely loved getting to know her during our stay. We booked the all inclusive package which was the best decision as it just made the experience that more relaxing and carefree as just about everything is covered in the package. There is truly something for everyone from relaxation at the spa, pool bar or even your own pool oasis, excursions, diving, tennis, watersports, amazing snorkeling etc. The variety and quality of fresh and flavorsome cuisine from the buffet to la carte and delicious cocktails. There was truly nothing not to love it was very sad having to leave not just the beautiful island but the most incredible and kind staff. We are hoping to come back to the island some time in the near future hands down the best holiday we have ever been on and we have travelled most of the world.
