SUAN BUA is where you can sample the most delicious Thai food in a suitably tranquil setting, overlooking a lotus pond. For Italian delights, Azzuri Mare is perfect, set beside the ocean, there are seafood platters to feast on, char-grilled entrees and sinful desserts. Coral Bar is one of the most impressive in the Maldives – more than just a bar it’s an entertainment centre with a lively sports bar.

In South Ari Atoll, amidst world-class coral and diving spots. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 25 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Club Two Bedroom Beach Pool Villas feature duplex accommodation so it's an ideal choice for families or groups travelling together. The spacious villas offer a deck with sun loungers and a plunge pool, bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi tub, and 1 king-size bed plus a twin bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 kids.

Our stay at Centara was exceptional, and it provided the perfect traditional Maldives luxury experience. If you're seeking a lavish overwater bungalow with a touch of Maldivian charm, this is the place. Our villa was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exuded warmth, unlike the often sterile, minimalist style of some other resorts. The bathroom was particularly luxurious, complete with a large bathtub for ultimate relaxation. The staff at Centara are truly wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and always eager to enhance your stay. While most of the resort’s team were great, one standout for us was Amanulla, our housekeeper. His service went above and beyond. Amanulla was consistently polite, professional, and always checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. His friendly and thoughtful nature really elevated our experience, and we are deeply grateful for the care he showed us throughout our stay. Amanulla’s service truly deserves five stars! We also want to thank Faruk, who gave us a warm welcome on our first day and helped us maximize our time on the island. Salaman was another fantastic team member who guided us around our villa upon arrival and assisted with arranging a floating breakfast, which was a wonderful experience. On the downside, the food at the resort didn’t meet expectations. The main restaurant, "The Reef," offered a buffet with repetitive dishes and little variation throughout the week. I started dreading the visits due to the often chaotic dining experience. If you choose to dine there, I recommend arriving exactly at 7 pm when the buffet opens to get fresh food and avoid the crowds in the small, cramped space. There are two more upscale restaurants that require reservation in advance. My partner and I really enjoyed these two restaurants however it can be very difficult to get a time slot. Upon arrival, be sure to get your bookings in on the first day. We did enjoy a fantastic spa experience, possibly the best we’ve had abroad. Our couples massage with Pin and Firda was absolutely sensational, with both therapists maintaining a high level of service throughout. A huge thank you to the spa team! One thing we want to mention is the Watersports team and the excursions. We booked a Dolphin cruise and a Whale Shark snorkeling trip, both of which were pricey. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see any dolphins on the cruise, and although my partner briefly spotted the whale sharks, they swam too fast for me to see them. Additionally, the Watersports team was not very organized. On both excursions, we left at least 30 minutes late without clear communication on the delay. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Centara, especially thanks to the high-quality villa and the excellent service from staff like Amanulla, Faruk, and Salaman. There’s definitely room for improvement in the food quality and excursion organization, but the overall experience was still very enjoyable. We would happily return, especially to enjoy the impeccable service and the beauty of the island! Read less

I can not recommend this island enough, we had the best time of our lives! Starting with the great staff that we were so humbled by them very clean uniforms the manners out of this world the kindness and willingness to do anything to help/ to make you comfortable to name a few Jasim , Shindra, Sharif,Desmond The scenery is paradise with the white sands and blue clean beaches, the pics don’t do it justice, Coral reef is a live with all the wonders we experienced while snorkelling, shark comes to the shore to get fed every evening along with stingrays and that was such a wonderful experience you would experience. The food is absolutely delicious and a great variety of all tastes such a great shefs that comes out and talk to people also to thank a great Italian Shef that became more like a friend rather his iname is Giuseppe and the Egyptian Shef Karim he was so patient we everyone so thanks to him as well. I might forgot to mention other things but generally I would highly recommend Centara Grand for all the amazing things the island offers, I personally definitely coming back next year. Read less
