Everything about this resort is perfect and amazing! We enjoyed every second of it and we are already planning when we can go back! We went there for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT! Shout outs for the staff that were super attentive and nice: - Anna and Deborah gave us the most amazing massage in the spa, I highly recommend getting one with them! Also the man that works at the entrance desk (sorry we didn’t catch the name) was super nice and helpful! - Dr. Ali helped me sorting out a cold sore I got during the holidays! He was really helpful and made sure that I had what I needed, being really attentive and dilligent. - Ricky and Hishan were very friendly and lovely to be with. Hishan went out of his way to show us where we could find bio plankton on the island and this was an unforgettable experience. He also went the extra mile on several other occasions, for example recommending the best place to see the sunrise, and we are so grateful for that. - Fede from the diving centre was lovely! Everyone was increible. The resort also had lots of excursions… , we saw sea turtles, manta rays, nurse sharks, reef sharks…. We highly recommend doing snorkling extravaganza, one of the most amazing experiences of our lifes! Also the bbq fishing dinner watching the sunset and then later on watching the stars was incredible. We ate the fish we caught immediately on the grill and we have never tasted something like it! Then the captain let us star watch on the roof of the boat and it was magical. We really cant speak highly enough of all the staff everyone was so pleasant. From Jack cleaning our room to BD and Jambe on the boat, everyone was so warm and friendly. We stayed 2 nights in the water villa and 4 in the beach villa and we recommend both places! The buffet and the food options are endless! Super tasty food! We recommend also having lunch at the Totem bar with a nice mango mocktail! Best we ever had! Read less

We just finished a 10-day stay at Moofushi and it did not disappoint. We came to South Ari for the diving and ended up - unknowingly - at the resort where all the safari/live-a-board boats stop because of the famous dive sites nearby. The BlueTribe team (Dive Centre) were fantastic with multiple dives daily. They were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Moofushi is located off of a famous oceanic pass (Shark pass) so a lot of wildlife passes by off the house reef. We were even lucky to have a snorkle with a manta ray that was passing by. Further the island is next door to Manta Point, a spectacular cleaning station where mantas aggregate (during the season) and even whale sharks can pass through. We were very lucky that a whale shark passed the cleaning station on one of our dives. There are few trips included in the package, we didn’t do any but BlueTribe also offers a whale shark snorkling trip (additional cost because of duration of trip) and has an excellent team facilitating it. We went out on a stormy day thinking it was improbable to a whale shark and we swam with 2-3 with fewer boats around (fortunately!) due to the poor weather. Mauro made sure everyone got amazing videos and a good swim alongside the whale shark. The diving beyond manta point was spectacular with dramatic topography, colourful corals, and many sites with turtles and sharks. Some of the most beautiful sites we’ve seen in the Maldives. We were blown away by the Constance Spa team, services, and teas made from their garden (so refreshing!). The Spa team were kind, warm, professional, and diversely skilled. We found it really good value-for-money, compared to other places we've stayed in the Maldives, with excellent quality. Peldon has gifted hands and has mastered a variety of different techniques so could really tailor each of our sessions - we are so grateful to her for all her help! Further, Pravin - at reception - is so knowledgeable and considerate as well. He even helped us with a herbal remedy that took away our congestion. We would return just for this spa! JB was fantastic in the gym, giving us some life-changing stretching exercises. Moofushi and its entire team took very good care of us and overall we had a fantastic trip. A very big and special shout-out to Dr Ali. We had a couple of medical issues on the trip and he could not have been more professional or kind. He is a testament to his profession and seemed more knowledgable and caring than many doctors in the UK! We are eternally grateful to him - thank you Dr Ali. He also made himself available at all hours if we needed him, which is just one example of him going above and beyond, with exceptional patient care. It is impossible to name everybody so sorry for those we have missed directly in this review, but thank you again to everyone for making our experience so special. The housekeeping team leave everything immaculate. A huge thank you to Javva and his team for taking care of us so well, for all the small touches, and kind greetings. Food - Very tasty! We liked the blend of a la carte and buffet and how relaxed the eating situation is ie you don't have to worry about booking and you can graze throughout the day. They also do a good job of mixing the dishes even on the same theme night. Each night, we never failed to find something tasty we wanted seconds of. If you get crafty, you can always eat a freshly cooked meal or a la carte meal between Totem and Alizee. Everything we had a Totem for lunch was delicious. They also offer over 60 sorbet and ice cream flavours across restaurants - many became our daily favourites. We did notice, in comparison to other places we stayed, that the all-inclusive format really did make things a bit more relaxing for everyone around. Activities and spaces - there is always something to join, do, or eat, and/or place to hang. The marine biology talks were incredibly informative - like going to a mini-lecture (thanks Elena!) There are also a variety of relaxing spaces/lounges around the island for guest to enjoy, which is really unique. It's all subtle tranquility - nothing forced on you or heavily over-staffed. Island - Moofushi is bike-free, although we found this annoying at times, we actually grew to like it as it makes the island really quiet and adds to the relaxing nature of the place. We also loved that at Moofushi there is plenty of beach to walk around (sometimes you can’t do that because of villas or facilities) three beach areas with beds for all guests (this is uncommon in the Maldvies. Many of those beach areas have self-service snacks and drinks along with accessible snorkelling wherever you sit. There are multiple sand banks with shallows where you can sit comfortably in the water and read a book. Moofushi knows its USP and executes it well. We'd argue it's the best, all-inclusive 5-star resort in the Maldives. It's a bit more self-service than other five-star places we've stayed (that weren’t all-inclusive). But the trade-offs are minor for the better price-point. For example, you still get a sea-plane lounge on arrival and personalised transfer support. But you need to be prepared to pay the extra baggage fee as this resort doesn't take care of that for you. You also won’t have a personal experience manager like you do at other resorts, but there are many notice boards and reception is accessible at all hours. Last on the list of things we liked, and would draw us back to Moofushi, is the number of Maldivians and non-westerners in positions of leadership (we have frequently found that a very high percentage of management, sommeliers, and dive centre staff to be European or Western, but that's not the case at Moofushi, which is really refreshing and a testament to their HR, recruitment and development programmes. Further, many of the staff - at the spa, Alizee and kitchen staff - told us about the professional development opportunities and autonomy they have to make their mark, which was great to learn and experience. We could feel this at the spa and heard about it from restaurant staff. For example, one staff member even learnt to swim through a staff training. Things to improve on: One thing we were concerned about were the working hours for staff - many staff have long hours, with seemingly short and few breaks and their holiday allotment seems less generous than other resorts we’ve been to where staff can take longer time off to be with family since many live so far away. Staff at other resorts had designated beach areas (guests were told) and we didn’t see staff at the beach on off day, although this wasn’t something we investigated directly. We’ve also been told at other places of staff using their off days to go to local islands to get away and do errands which we didn’t hear of unless staff were from the closest local island and returning home from work. Lastly, we really appreciate when resorts permit staff to eat alongside guests and use facilities on their time off since really, the island is their home. We saw that although some staff are allowed, they have to wait and be discreet. But more importantly, and with the prices we pay, we’d like to see staff with more time to spend with their families (given some have tedious and long journeys), more time to rest and refresh daily along with places to go to aside from staff quarters to enjoy that time away from work. We think that would make Moofushi truly exceptional. Overall though thank you Moofushi for a fantastic experience. Read less

We stayed over Christmas and new year and what an absolute pleasure the only down side was it just wasn’t long enough I could have stayed a month! From the wonderful staff to the most beautiful island and the amazing food we couldn’t have asked for anymore, I can’t wait to return We stayed in one of the beautiful senior water villas and grateful to have the opportunity to see such wonderful sealife from the deck, as well as a trip to see a pod of dolphins, we were lucky enough to be there for the New Year’s Eve gala dinner and all I can say is wow what an experience- what the staff were able to achieve was astonishing and the food was wonderful there wasn’t anything I would have changed during our trip. Lastly I want to thank the staff with particular mention to those that looked after us so well - you do make the difference so thank you to Sinaz, Nitin, Gopan and Maverick - we will be back I promise! What a fantastic holiday, words cannot describe how happy myself and my family were to visit Constance Moofushi. We stayed for 10 nights but we all wished we had longer. The island itself is absolutely stunning, like something out of a movie. White sands and turquoise sea in every direction, and beautiful, well maintained walkways, trees and gardens throughout. The food is immaculate with so many options at the 3 restaurants, and as a foodie, I fully appreciated it, never got bored of the variety and feasted thoroughly! All of the chefs and waiters were friendly, personable and fantastic all around, even bringing us special drinks that they had concocted for us (shout out to Hishan!). The scenery and wildlife around the island is also jaw-dropping. Having been on previous snorkelling trips in the past, I must say I saw more here than anywhere else I have visited. Countless species of tropical reef fish, a variety of rays including mantas, black and white tip reef sharks, hawksbill turtles, octopuses, giant clams, and the list goes on! Not only this, I was lucky enough to go on the nurse shark excursion and snorkelling outing, which were both absolutely magical. The animals were breath-taking and the staff hosts made me feel very comfortable and at ease at all times throughout. Everything else about the island: the rooms, the amenities, the entertainment, was all top-notch and I have no bad words to write about the resort. Overall, without a doubt it was one of the best holidays I have been on and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you again to all the staff for being so attentive, chatty and helpful during our stay, we shall return soon enough! Read less
