Locked out of room for 11 hours - Extremely unresponsive Less than 24 hours after check in, I had left the parks and come back to the hotel to take an important Zoom call. After initially being unable to access my room, I assumed it was a key issue and got a new key from the front desk who said they were sending security up to check on the lock. Second attempt, also unsuccessful. I took the call from the hallway and was assured it was being fixed immediately. But no one ever arrived so I call the front desk a second time to ask them to fix it and they assured me that security/maintenance would be sent to the room to fix the lock. I returned to the park and called the hotel 7 hours later, and was assured it was fixed. Finally returned to the hotel at 8 pm with two exhausted kids and alas, still could not access it. Another discussion with the front desk, and an hour wait in the lobby to finally access the room. Technology fails, but the negligence to fix the issue when flagged, and then claim it WAS fixed when it hadn’t been, is really unacceptable. On the plus side, the coffee shop in the lobby is solid. While experiencing the water transport from Epcot to Hollywood Studios; we stopped here to explore the facility's interesting architecture, well-kept grounds, themed landscaping, and seasonal decorations. We enjoyed a tea from the Java Bar, while taking a break in our wandering about the area. The complex is well-maintained and nicely conceived; with a bustling resort atmosphere. Its convenient location to the Boardwalk and two Parks; makes for an engaging interlude in one's traversing this part of the Disney bubble. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Rude Housekeeping & Pay Attention to Resort Details

Housekeeping was very rude and loud after stating I was sick on multiple occasions demanding to come in even though I stated not to. Heavy dust below the refrigerator. Curtains don’t fully close all the way. No Disney Plus app on the TV’s despite being a Disney resort. Don’t put a “Walt Disney Resort” on all your placards and signage if you don’t… Read more
Housekeeping was very rude and loud after stating I was sick on multiple occasions demanding to come in even though I stated not to. Heavy dust below the refrigerator. Curtains don’t fully close all the way. No Disney Plus app on the TV’s despite being a Disney resort. Don’t put a “Walt Disney Resort” on all your placards and signage if you don’t honor their benefit. Should be called Swan & Dolphin at Walt Disney World. Not Walt Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort. Stayed in room 221 with balcony for 5 with 3 little kids. Probably the best budget “Disney”hotel even though it’s a Marriott. The boat will bring you to Hollywood studios and Epcot. 15min walk to Epcot along the boardwalk with shops along the way. Clean hotel, comfy beds. Would recommend and stay again.

This is a fab hotel, the location is great and the hotel is great. We’ve stayed at the Beach Club many times, and would now pick the Swan instead every time. Whilst Beach Club does have a more Disney feeling (so might be better for small kids), my teenagers prefer the pool at Swan, and it was also a lot easier to get sun beds and umbrellas for shade than at Beach Club. We had an updated room, and it was lovely, the 2 sinks were perfect for 2 teenage girls getting ready. We also found the rooms quieter than Beach Club, having had many problems with noise there over the years. Whilst I didn’t like the resort fee, I did like the free water and rain ponchos. The beds were so comfortable, possibly the best I’ve ever slept in. The buses are not as good as Disney buses as the MK ones go to the TTC rather than the main gate. It’s also a shame that magic bands can’t be used. The lobby does feel a bit in need of an update, I think it’s the flooring that spoils the look/feeling but the new rooms are really lovely. The biggest downside for me is the lack of refillable resort mug option. Read less
