The majesty and grandeur of the great American Northwest echo throughout this relaxing mountain retreat and will appeal to every member of the family. Bubbling springs, authentic Native American carvings and an inspiring décor take you back in time to the historic national park lodges of yesteryear. Scenic wonders are everywhere, from fantastically themed restaurants to an amazing geyser faithfully shooting water 12-storeys high every hour! The kids will love the totem pole in the lobby, carved with all their favourite Disney characters. In fact, there's endless fun to be had here for everyone, both day and night!

The entrance is a grand room with massive totem poles and theming everywhere. The boat access to HoopDeeDoo and the parks is super easy and convenient and a great way to start and end the time at the parks each day. Finally, the pool area is a blast. There is a main area, a kiddie area and hot tubs that are at body temperature so the kids can also enjoy them. The pool is also open very late so you don't have to worry about missing out while at the parks. The lifeguards were very attentive and professional, which made me feel quite comfortable letting the older kids be on their own while I stayed with the youngest kids. Overall, a terrific experience at this well-themed resort. Read less

We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa. Absolutely beautiful resort, gorgeous rooms with full kitchen & in room washer & dryer. On site restaurants are great, and themed pools are beautiful. Skipped the parks & spent a few days touring central florida while still enjoying a bit of Disney magic.

We last stayed here in 2018 I believe. We stayed twice because the first time, my daughter fell in the bathroom and dislocated her knee. That was a disaster. We spent the day at the ER and she had to wear a brace and crutches and be in a wheelchair for the rest of the trip. The manager called an ambulance and gave us vouchers for a cab, but we missed our Le Cellier ADR and you would think maybe they would give us a voucher to get some food, but we had to pick up some crappy Chinese food near the hospital. I had to ask for a refund of the dining credits we couldn't use that day. Considering that we could have sued, you would think they would be nicer. Still, we love the hotel. Everything is convenient and the atmosphere is relaxing. We loved the pool.We went back 6 months later so that my daughter could have a good stay there and we would go again. Read less

Ate at the waterside restaurant for lunch today. Felt a brief escape from the whole direct Disney theming elsewhere on the resort. The setting and theming was incredible. Service, food, pricing all spot on. Paid $17 for the crispy chicken burger. $9 for pint of beer. Gorgeous views over the water. Would certainly recommend.

It was our 2nd stay at the Lodge, choosing once again the Boulder Ridge 1-Bedroom suite - and we really, really, really like this hotel. What we liked: Wonderful cast members: front desk, bell services and people around the resort. Well appointed rooms... yes, they are more expensive than nearby "vacations club" offering from major hotel chains, but you do have more: more entertainment, more dining options, more kitchen and cooking items, more space... and the Disney theming. The room assigned was extremely well maintained with a nice view toward the pool and the lake. Disney transportation abound from this resort, which is well located to access most of the Disney parks. Particularly like the boat option to/from Magic Kingdom. Nice and comfortable bed/bedroom, easy to use murphy bed, ample space in the kitchen and for dining. Always nice to have washer/dryer in the room. Very good housekeeping during our stay that would replenish whatever had been used. Even though it was really hot and humid outside, room temperature was adequate at all times. Cool pool areas and theming. Very highly recommended Read less
