Expensive for what you get. With a big group and almost all had a problem in room. Shower very weak. Drain very slow and eventually stopped draining last day there. Housekeeping only available every other day. In other rooms tv and or remote not working, no phone service available in room.

We stayed two nights in the Royal Guest Room 9250 which is a corner room with two sided windows on the second floor of the Oak Manor Building 90 This room is like no other in Disney with its light up headboard at the push of a button, princess framed artwork on the walls, and other magical tasteful touches it fits the 5 year old demographic pretty perfectly. This room is also an older style room that hasn't been renovated yet. There is no under bed storage, It still has a mini fridge as opposed to a beverage cooler, serial ports to connect your laptop as well an RCA port to connect your...PlayStation 2? There is virtually no plugs in the room as well as no usb ports. The side table in between the beds has been beat up and the backboard is broken. It was quite bright at night trying to keep light out of the dual wall windows was a challenge. The resort is setup as motel with access via the outside. The grounds are immaculate and were quite clean. Overall, for a longer stay you probably better off with a renovated room, but for your princess loving 5 year old they will never be bored of it. The food court was brilliant such a wide variety. The hotel was so clean walking around. It was so peaceful walking around too. We have already booked for this year coming, so excited . Turned us into on site Disney stayers now. The boat to Disney springs is a brilliant addition. The bar is great for a relaxing drink after a busy day. Great on site shop Read less

We once again continued our tradition of exploring the Port of Orleans resorts; when visiting Orlando in December. We usually start at the French Quarter, with its Mardi Gras themed Xmas splendor; and then enjoy the more laid-back, stylized atmosphere of Riverside. A boat trip, to & from Disney Springs, is always a pleasant addendum to the experience; along with an occasional Mickey's premium ice-cream bar. Roaming the Disney resorts, festooned in their holiday regalia; continues to be a wonderful way to begin immersing into the holiday season. And this resort complex, is one of our favorites. It may be a constructed and idealized environment; but often times a trip (or several) into the "Disney bubble", can be a very enjoyable retreat. Read less

Clean, quiet, convenient hotel for Disney trip. Food court adequate. Staff very nice. Buses to parks often, clean, kind drivers. Apparent that grounds crew work hard to keep property beautiful. Pools are warm and clean. We stayed here twice. Last visit was pre Covid and I felt more magic here but I would still recommend it.
