The hotel

A sure family favourite, Disney's Pop Century celebrates fads of the 1950s through to the 90s. There's something for everyone here - you'll love the themed pools, complete with water jets, and you can dine in a relaxed fashion at the food court. When the night rolls around, enjoy movies under the stars, or head to the games arcade for an evening of laughs before heading to your room. And when you're ready to hit the parks, hop on the Skyliner, a gondola that gives you amazing birds-eye views while taking you to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Hotel information

2880 rooms on 4 floors in 10 buildings with 3 lifts per building. All have air-conditioning, cable TV with Disney Channel, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. 

Standard Roomsoffer views of the resort or parking areas, with either 1 king-size bed, or 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size table bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Standard Pool View rooms overlook either the Bowling Pool or the Computer pool, with either 1 king-size bed, or 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size table bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Preferred Rooms are located closer to the Classic Hall, dining, shopping and transportation, and feature views of the courtyard or landscaping. with either 1 king-size bed or 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size table bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Preferred Pool View Rooms are the same as above, but overloop the Hippy Dippy pool.

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay: This hotel has Disney Skyliner Transportation to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and bus transportation throughout the resort.

This is family friendly resort and located close to all the parks with access to both skyliner and bus transportation making your trips for getting to them quick and a breeze. The hotel rooms and property are very clean and if you need anything, it is promptly delivered. Just say Hey Disney into the room’s device and you can request almost everything. We requested adjoining rooms for myself and son’s family of four. My room came with a king size bed and their’s with the pull down. I definitely had the most floor space. Their room had a tub and shower combo and mine a walk in shower. Suited both our needs very well. Other than those few things, the rooms were pretty much the same. The restaurant provided reasonable priced meals and the portions were more than enough so that you could order less and share. Lots of tables and booths and there is a nice section with couches and bucket chairs for a relaxing snack. Toaster and microwave is in this area. Gift shop had some nice souvenirs but there is a remodel going on so it is a little on the small side. Prices appeared to be comparable no matter where you shopped. There is a nightly marshmallow roast and you can purchase a smor’s kit for $7. Families seemed to be enjoying the pool area we checked out but with a 2&4 yr old to keep an eye on after a long day at the parks, it was more relaxing to entertain them in other ways. Walked over to Art of Animation hotel next door for supper one evening and it is a zoo compared to Pop Century. If you are okay with crowds morning, noon and night, then the decor is really cute for little kids. If you want a chance to decompress, then I highly recommended Pop Century for a calmer atmosphere. The hotel front desk staff were excellent, friendly and always helpful. Overall a great experience and looking forward to another visit in the near future. Read less

We enjoyed our stay at Pop Century.. Room clean and comfortable. Nice shampoo and body wash. Good dining choices, accommodating staff. Easy transportation, buses with regular schedules and loved the Skyline access. Would choose this again

Skyliner makes this only short of a moderate hotel IMO by a sit down restaurant; thought i would suggest- how many good restaurants that you plan to sit down d at- are at moderate hotels that you would visit more thane once. . Save the cash stay here and skyliner to boardwalk.. So good I am returning in may 2025 despite renovations. Read less

Room contained a double bed and a Murphy bed which we just left down the entire stay. Both beds were comfortable. Room functional and clean with bare basic amenities. Absolutely fantastic!! Rooms bigger than I thought they would be, but immaculately clean. Perfect resort for skyliner to get to Hollywood studios and Epcot, and a fantastic pool area. Food a bit basic but does the job after a long day at the parks. Absolutely would stay again!
